Like,do you keep things from whe you child made his first handprint in clay?, or a special picture he drew or she drew, first day of school pictures, a lock of hair from the first hair cut, flowers you were given for mothers day...
Or do you rely on your memory for all of that?....
I myself like to keep things so that when they are alot older they have a collection of things from when they were younger. and things to show there kids and even possibly grandkids,Pictures are always a BIG thing.. Right now im using a little picture memory box for everything but eventually i am ganna get a big tote and use it...
Thanks so much for taking time to respond:)

Yes, I have kept things like my daughter's first shoes and things she did at school. She is 20 now, so I think I've probably lost a lot of the things that I had squirreled away - I'm sure I had her first tooth that came out, but I've no idea where it is now!

Yea, I know i will be a bad one for that. I can barley hold on to somthing i saved yesterday hahaha..totes are so good for that. just open drop your savings in and close it up and dont get back in unless u are dropping somthing and thats it... and when u do open it make sure its in the middle of a clean clean room that way when picking all up to put back in the ben you dont loose anythng...
I make little crafts with my daughter now and i like to save them too.lol

It's very strange when you see a little tiny shoe, and then think how much they've grown!

I try to keep a lot of things that mean something to me. I am a big scrapbooker so I have a ton of pictures and I have a really good camera to capture all those fun moments that can happen at any time. I keep concert tickets and birthday cards and all that stuff. I also keep a journal of what is going on in my life so that I can look back and remember. When I went to Italy I brought some euros home as well to have a reminder of my trip there!

Since I know as I get older that my brain is going to get older too and might not hold on to those memories all that well, I tend to keep keepsakes. Trinkets, recordings, writings...anything that will remind me of my younger years. Regardless of my age, I never want to lose my past.

well i dont have any kids to keep stuff with them but im a picture and keepsaker person.. i am more about pictures than anything but i do keep cards and like some things (notes etc) but only if the person is important or if its important to me.. i hate keeping stuff i dont need so if i dont really care about the person or its not that special i usually wont hang on to it or for very long
