Have you heard the last news about an airplane crashing in a neighborhood just this week? It made me more afraid to fly in an airplane. I was able to ride an airplane once, and it was work related. It was a good flight I think because I didn't experience those like some of my friend's fearful experiences when the plane is just taking off or going down. When I rode the plane, I was at the window seat and I watched the roofs slowly getting smaller and smaller. I remembered when I was up there, it was the longest time for me. My flight did not last for an hour but yet, it was too long for me. My kids are still small, but when they grow up, I want to experience traveling with them. That means I have to conquer my fear sooner or later.

This is my dream to sit in airplane and fly. But I not know this dream will be complete before dying or not. I not afraid from fly in Aeroplane but enjoy because wants to see how feel while flying. In my home my husband and dever both have such experience because they fly. But still I have no experience.

Accidents do occur daily each moment, whether it is plane, train, road or your home; , this doesn't imply that we should stop moving..
i faced an accident in 1985 that reduced my left hipbone to 13 pieces, but i still drive..
life is a challenge let's face it..

I am afraid to go on a plane. I havent been on one since I was about 8 years old. I always hear about planes crashing and everyone being killed or a majority of them. I guess for me its more so not being the 'one behind the wheel'.

No, i think i was never afraid of flying on airplanes since it made me excited just thinking of it. Looking at the view, how little the islands and buildings are and the sea- so beautiful. The last time i rode an airplane was 2 years ago.. I miss it.

I am afraid to fly in an airplane. The first time I got on a plane was when I was 18 and I actually liked it back then. Seems the older I get the more fearful I get of flying. It may have something to do with my husband because he is really afraid of flying. I guess some of his fear has rubbed off on me! I remember the last time I flew, the plane hit a lot of rough spots and there was a lot of turbulence. It was nightime and I remember holding onto the seat thinking "what if we go down?" It was the worst feeling. I haven't been on a plane since then and that was 4 years ago. But I rarely travel to places that I would have to fly to so I guess it doesn't matter in someways.

I am keen on traveling and so I am happy to fly if I am going far away. I like to sit by the window to see a view on take off and landing. I have been on many planes and luckily I have stayed safe. I know plane crashes are rare. I like to travel with airlines that have good safety records. I have flown with my young son to Portugal, Latvia and South Africa so far. Good luck getting over your fear of flying.

I'm not afraid to fly in an airplane since airplane crashes don't happen that often from what I see on the news. Technically, if you drove to your destination, wouldn't there be a higher chance of a car accident? I think of flying in an airplane as driving in a car. Except, and airplane is faster. By far. xD Nowadays it's somewhat boring for me during a flight since they don't allow many things on the plane anymore. Although, they do have those little TV things, that's basically the only form of entertainment I can find on a plane.

I first rode a plane when i was fourteen. It was a year after 9/11. So you can imagine how scared i was. But my fear got subsided with excitement when i saw the things out the window. It is amazing. And i flew through a cloud. Even though its a scary though the thing is the odds of a plane accident is real slim.

I was always afraid of traveling in airplane until I travelled in one. This was a very hard decision for me and I had to overcome my worst fears to do so.to make matters worse ,the air hostess told me and my friend to replace our seat with a young couple and their child as they were given seats next to the emergency exit.I got extra information from the air hostess as to how to tackle a situation if the plane had to make an emergency landing. The takeoff and landing were just awesome. It was one enjoyable experience for me.

I am English and have lived in Florida for 21 years. I do the 8 hour flight to England and back every August, to see my family.
I also fly several times a year. If it is my time, then so be it.
My husband has lost 2 daughters and a grand-daughter, and non were through flying.
