Have you ever ate Dandelion leaves. My grandma used to pick them and eat them in a salad for the benefits of it being a natural diuretic. I have ate them along time ago but I dont remember what they taste like. I was wondering if they sell them in the store or if you have to just pick them yourself. Have you ever ate Dandelion leaves?

I have never ever eaten Dandelion leaves, but there are thousands of them growing wild around here. I have heard that they are good for you, but I have never thought I would enjoy the taste.. Maybe this summer, I will give some a try.. Derek

I only ate it once in an omelet, an italian friend served it to me, the leaves came from her garden.

oh, i bet the leaves you mentioned must be a local plant which can not be grown in my country. we have the same experiment of eating leaves, but now few, very few people are doing so because most people are living in cities and we don't have our own garden.

I have tried them, and I think they tasted horrible. When I was little everyone said not to pick dandelion leaves because they made you wet the bed, which I now know is because they are a diuretic.
