I do not see beads as a big money-maker having looked into it pretty thoroughly myself. If you decide to try it, I would go with Fire Mountain Gems where you can get excellent prices. Beads are just about everywhere and there are so many types, managing inventory is an issue. Also, how creative are you? Basic designs are everywhere. You really need to get creative to do well. It also takes a lot of time to make the jewelry and you have to consider what you will charge for your time. It didn't work for me, but that does not mean it would not work for you.
