I know that might not sound to exciting right off but i teach the preschool class. We are a small church and I only have 2 students old enough to talk ages 4 and 2. I managed to teach them all of them in 4 weeks. I am so proud of them they have always learned their lessons fast so I thought it would be good to start teaching them now. I was thinking that it would take a coulp of months for them to really get it but they learned it so fast. I hope they keep learning the bible in every form possible. I just have to brag on this wonderful and smart Children.

I try not to interfere in other peoples religious views, but this one is impossible. Why would you say such a thing in this public place? I don't know how may books there are in the New Testament but I do know even though you may have tried you did not teach the whole of the New Testament to two preschool children. Perhaps you tried but there is no way a 2 yr old could recite even 2 pages of a book of the New Testament! (did they learn the Chapter and Verse numbers too?) (if they did I have a Gold Mine in Canada I'd like to sell to you, very cheap)

Most likely the kids are able to know that New Testament starts with Book of Matthew and ends with Revelation. If they can memorise the sequence, it's a great achievement already. Later on, they will learn how many chapters in each book. So that when someone ask them, what does Matthew chapter 30 verse 1 says, they will know that Matthew does not have 30 chapters.

barehugs what most people have proble figured out is I have taught them to recite the names of the books of the New testament. So I guess if their brain big enough to remember several peoples names it is possible. Thank you very much. And I say it in a public place because if they can recite it in front of a church then I guess I can prove it.

That is awesome!! I am still trying to get my husband to learn it never the less my kids LOL. Honestly though. We are about to take over a Sunday School class... 3rd - 6th grade. One of my goals is to teach them the books as well! Did you use a song or what technique did you use?
