Well, I cant stay mad for too long, they are so darn cute after all. There are 5 of them here, they are about to turn 8 weeks old in a few days, and they have taken over the house! They were upstairs, then they came downstair (in my computer room), then they took over the living room (back upstairs), and just for kicks they are back in the computer room again. This is all in the span of about 10 days. Mama is so fed up, as soon as I enter the room she makes an escape...see, I am the official kitten-sitter. Well, I am trying to type (medical transcription), and I have kittens climbing up my leg, hopping on my foot pedal (which turns the dictation on and off), and biting my big toe everytime I try to step on the pedal. How am I supposed to get any work done? They have also decided that climbing the back of my chair and sitting on my shoulder is great fun. You know, king of the mountain is a great game...but not when I am the mountain! I get so mad...GRRR...and then they climb up and look at me with those pretty blue eyes (they still have the baby blues) and I cant stay mad! They know how to work it, thats for sure. Oh, the joys of having kittens!

I too know the joys of kittens invading your home. The can drive you nuts sometimes, but as you say they can be just too cute to stay mad. They are great fun at that age when they start exploring their world and playing with each other.
When one of my cats was a kitten he used to sit on my shoulder as well, it always seems each one has their own little character traits which adds to the cuteness.

It seems to me that it is always the runt of the little that has the biggest personality. He has to make up for what he lacks in size, I think.

I dont think all the toys in the world would make a difference, because toys have to be manipulated and I actually play back! My own mistake, but who can resist? This is Twigs, the runt, but even though she is small, she has huge personality!

Oh, I do! I talk big, bad, and tough, but these little guys know they have me in the palm of their hands, uh, paws.

When I went to buy a kitten a few years ago, I went to a house to pick one. The family had turned one room into a sort of kitten playground. They'd moved the TV out of the room and just sat there watching the kittens play. They had made a sort of playden out of cardboard boxes, and had lots of home-made kitten toys. It was really fun to watch. They don't stay kittens for long, so you may as well make the most of it!

Have you been peeking in my windows? That sounds so familiar it is scary. Except that has happened to my computer room, they have make-shift toys every where. Little ramps and tubes and whatnot to play in. Gotta keep them happy!
