My brothers wife has Sarcoidosis and we can find her no help.

She has been going through this for the last 4 years and she is not in the advanced stages of Sarcoidosis. She can get no help from the doctor - they just feed her prednisone and It gives he diabetes. She stays in bed all day, has no energy, Her eyes hurt, feet swole, always has the shakes, ect.... The thing is that no one will give her the proper help and she is becoming more and more depressed which is rubbing off on my brother. The insurance that she is on will not allow her any good doctor that will help - the just feed her a bunch of pills and send her home. It is like there is no hope and she is just waiting to die - It has to be something that can be done Does anyone know what I can do to get her help or point me in the right direction? Any help would be highly appreciated!!!

Hi shaka i am not a doctor but one thing i can tell is that many of our health problems come from what we intake daily every day , and i can only advise you to help your brothers wife in starting a good and healthy vegetarian lifestyle which can and i am sure will improve the overall situation , and especialy raw vegetables fresh fruit whole wheat or brown bread ,less refined foods that have too much preserves in them that over the long run we become intoxicated i hope i was usefull , greetings from bignik italy

Hi Shak,
I know you wrote this a year ago but I was looking for some info on Sarcoidosis also. I have been diagnosed with it as well. I hope your Sister-in-law is doing better. Still today all they have to treatit with is steroids. They try to avoid using them unless the Sarcoidosis is bad enough it needs to be treatment. Mine seems to flare up and then ease off. It's all new to me so I'm afraid I can't help you much. Take care
