Is it possible to teach a 13 year old cat how to use the toilet?

She is a moody, cranky yet loveable cat but is fussy about what kind of litter we use. Someone suggested we teach her to use the toilet. Do you think she's too old to learn? Has anyone had any level of success with this method of replacing a litter box with something we already have?

I had a friend who taught her cat to use the toilet.
She said that the cat loved to watch the water go down the drain so it would sit there and flush the toilet over and over all day and drove her water bill up. I don't know exactly how much it cost but it sort of an unintended consequence.

if your persistent enough
you can teach any pet
if might take a long time but it will hapten eventualy
