body mods

I am a pround owner of a 03 honda civic 2 door lx and i would like to start building it up with a few body mods but would really like it i could not spend a lot of money doing it. I have a few ideas but everything that i have found for my car would come aout over 5 grand so i have to find other ways to find the parts at a lower cost does anyone out there know where to look for discount body parts

The money spent on body modifications could be better used to increase the performance and the overall longevity of the car. Items like suspension, tires, and rims would be a better investment, and they will make your car handle better all at the same time. These items will cost less than the typical body kit and installation/paint and actually DO something for the car.
It's only a matter of time before somebody taps your door in the parking lot, hits your bumper in traffic, or notices your car and the cosmetic modifications and defaces it.
