bank account?
I thought about this question as I gave my co-worker and a very trusted friend a personal check that was written out to me, along with my bank account number to make a bank deposit on my behalf, as he was going the direction of the bank, and it closed at 5pm. I didn't get off work until 5pm, and I didn't want to wait until the weekend so I ask my friend would he deposit the check for me. He said he would and off he went, after I endorse the back of it and wrote down my bank account number.
Do you have friends that you could trust in this manner?

Yes I can trust a friend of mine and my fiance's, I can also trust my fiance's parents. I am not so sure about other people but that isn't to say that I wouldn't.

That's cool, you trust your fiancee's parents. After you're married though, do you think your fiancee with be able to trust that same friend you trust now?

I am not saying I wouldn't but that person would have to be someone I knew better than just being someone at work. I would have to really trust him as a good friend,

This person I've known for at least 7 years, we used to live with him and his wife when we first got married, so I know his integrity.

Yes, I do have a couple of trusted friends that I would allow to do this for me. My husband is also another person that would take care of this for me. I am very funny about just anyone getting a hold of my account information at my bank. They would have to be some kind of good friend for me to really trust them. They just have to be trusted, if not, then I won't allow anyone this information, no matter if I like them or not..

It depends on who it is. I know that I can trust my family and my best friend. As a matter of fact, i have no problem with giving my bank information to my Mom. There have been plenty of times when she has taken care of bank issues for me.
I could easily trust my best friend too, I know that she is an honest and trustworthy person and would not do anything to ruin my life at all.

yeah, but MoM's are supposed to look out for the best interest of their own child and attempt to protect them and any information pertaining to them. That is very cool you have a best friend you can trust though. My best friend, I haven't spoken to in over a year or so. We both changed our numbers and so now I don't know how to get back in contact with him.

Yes, I do have friends that I could trust in that way. I hope I always do. It does renew your faith in the whole world when you have at least one good friend that way.

Yes I have several times. I would not do this though unless I was absolutely sure that I could trust the person.

ARound here if you try to take money out or even get cash back with a deposit they check id. So even if a friend was to try and do the wrong thing they most likely wouldn't be able to. So i guess that would comfort me enough. The only thing i would worry about is them losing the check.

If I was going to "worry" I wouldn't have given it to him in the first place. I've learned that why give thought to that type of "fear." Unless I want that sort of thing to happen in real life.

My youngest brother and my best friend know the PIN of my ATM card. Three of my former work mates know my bank account number and I know theirs too. Sometimes, we took turns depositing check and cash in our accounts and this happens frequently since we are always on field work.
There are still thousands of people that can be trusted out there. You just have to know them.

I don't think I would consider myself trustworthy enough to allow thousands of people know my banking information, but I do get your point. I agree that you DO JUST HAVE TO KNOW THEM!

It depends, I used to always ask the driver at home deposit my check after I got along well with him and known what type of person her is and he always help the other colleagues cash the check so I figured it was alright.

I think that there are a few limited people that I could trust but if I am being honest, I really would prefer to do it myself. I just don't know that it would be a good idea, what if said person lost it and then you would be out the money. I just think that there are too many things that could go wrong in this situation.

I don't worry about those sort of things. Besides he was getting off of work and was going to go straight there to the bank for me. It was right down the street, unless something happened where the bank was robbed, I don't worry about those sort of things like I said though. Besides it was a gift, it wasn't my paycheck that I was asking him to deposit.

Can you trust yourself or do you consider yourself to be a devil as well? It wasn't a large sum of money to get all bent out of shape about.

Good you have someone to trust. No man is an island, and we all need each other, right?

I have one friend that I would and could trust like that. I would also trust my daughter, my mother or father. Other than that, I am not sure. I mean you endorsed it and everything, that's pretty serious stuff. I would like to trust everyone I know but as you know, that's not even realistic.

When I was working, I think there were a few co workers that I would trust with my bank information. I know for certain, anyone would be able to trust me with theirs.
People, often entrust my husband with their credit card information, and these are people he only know from talking to them on the phone. He is a web designer, and sometimes people will give their credit card info, so that they can pay him.

I have a few trusted friends in our workplace and if he/she is really a good friend of mine I would do the same as you did, since it is a very important transaction. Anyway, he is a trusted friend and a co-worker and it is impossible to make a bad thing out of it. Just learn to have a trust to your friends and they will do the same for you.
