Finally I was able to finish reading Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, 2nd book entitled New Moon, 3rd is Eclipse and the fourth is Breaking Dawn.
It's a story of young teenager (Bella Swan) who feel in love with a vampire (Edward Cullens), I like the story form book one till the end it, book 1, is mainly about how they feel in love and how they fought for their love.
Book 2, it's not as good as book 1 but with this book you will understand more about Jocob's (werewolf) character, about his affection toward Bella and how did Bella proved her love for Edward.
Book 3, the focus of this is about revenge from Victoria (her partner was killed by Cullen's family in book 1), the proposal of marriage, how did vampire proved themselves with the pack of werewolves that they are not the same with others vampires and they mean no harm.
Book 4, about the honeymoon, the sacrifices that Bella went for having a baby, How they fought for their baby and proved to the other coven that their baby is not a threat to their kind.
I like all the books and I am looking forward of reading the next episode of this, I have watched also Twilight the Movie, between the movie and the book, i like the movie better.
How about you, among the four books, which one do you like best? I like the third book, it has more actions and love triangle between Jacob, Edward and Bella, on that part of the book I don't if I will hate Bella for what she did with Edward and pity Edward, I like Jacob in book 2 but I started to hate him in book three and love him in book four for what he did for the baby.
For you which is better the Twilight movie or the Twilight book?

The books are excellent - in my opinion. I hear that the movie is fairly true to the book, at least Twilight is. I know that a movie will be made of New Moon and I think they are getting the same cast of characters back for it. It would be odd not to, it's a continuation, it's not like years have passed inbetween the first two books.

actually the movie left out a lot from the book not to mention that although kristen looks the part i dont feel she knew bella at all and wasn't able to portray her correctly. that said books are way better

I love the books. I just read the series and it was tough at the end to realize I was almost done. Nobody wants something so good to end, yet at the same time I had a fascination to know how it ended. I haven't seen the movie yet, I intend to, but since I have read a lot, I will almost always prefer reading a book first - unless it's a movie made to modernize a classic lol. Books always provide more detail, more atmosphere almost, or at least you can take what the author gives you and flesh it out with your own imagination. Directors and screenwriters and art folks do not always create a theatrical release that is quite in line with what you 'see' when you read something.
I see a lot of symbolism in the story, destiny almost, from the idea of imprinting to soulmates and the fact that whoever is caught in the middle doesn't have a choice any more in the matter. I actually preferred the interactions between Bella and Edward more in the first 3 books - in the last book there were a lot of times when he seemed two dimensional and cold - nothing like he was when he was promising Bella he would love her forever. Not the whole book obviously, there was the part that led up to Renesmee but after they had to worry about the fight and the concern that something was coming to wipe out all the Cullens.
I honestly did not see what the big deal was about the series BEFORE I started reading. The problem with a little thing like this is that's how people get hooked. There was just enough of everything that makes a good story - good old human drama, a small town, people (hehe) who cannot seem to stay away from each other, supernatural drama, secrets, love, hate, fear, connections, fantasy entwined with what-if....
Obviously not everybody will feel the same about the books or the movie. Stephenie Meyer has a LOT of fans, not a surprise to me. One thing I do disagree with is the idea that this is only focused toward teens ie Young Adult genre novels.

I like the 4th book because I think all the actions are there. The battle between the council and how Bella improved her abilities. I like the books better than the movie. I have my own definition of the Twilight characters and I don't think that all of the characters there are suited for the role. __

I agree with you about James, he appeared late on the book, unlike in the movie he was introduces in the first 15 to 20 mins movie play time.
I like the forth book too, I only hope that the author was able to put more action, very limited fight scene, she only covered the abilities of other vampires like one from the amazon and the others...
Thank you so much for the comment and have a nice day.....

I loved the books. It was way way way better than the movie. Here's the thing. I watched the movie first before I read the book. After I watched it I sooo fell in love with Edward. That made me read the books. After doing so I found out how much mistakes were done in the movie. Here are some of my inputs:
1. Rosalie in the movie is waaaaayyyy uglier than she is in the book. Her character in the book says she has to be really pretty.
2. The scene at the forest? Where Edward and Bella had a date. It was really really dull compared to the way it was described in the book. boo boo
3. Why was Bella wearing leggings on prom night??
4. Can you guys fill up the other flaws in the movie for me? :)

I agree with you about Rosalie, I hope that in the new movie "NEW MOON" they will give justice to her character....better yet look for a new actress to replace her....In the movie Rosalie is beautiful the only thing noticeable is her figure, if she could be a little thinner, then she fits for the role...
Thanks for the comment and have a nice day to everyone

Twilight is a romance series where good wins in the end and is geared towards teenagers. Now, don't get me wrong, I loved the books (I've read them many times), but I know they won't win any awards for great literature. The books are way better than the movie. But I am more of a book person than a movie person. I always try to read the book before I see the movie. That way you see it from the acutal author's point of view and not the lets-make-some-money producer. I definitely don't think the actors matched the descriptions in the books. They did a poor job in that respect. I think the best match they got was Jacob, and he's probably going to be booted off the next movie for not being tall enough. But they should have known about that in the beginning - if they read the books.

If I have to choose between the books and the movie, I would definitely run towards the books. But otherwise, I run away from both of them. I've got tons of issues with this series, and the movie didn't make it any better. First off, Bella is extremely shallow, and there was next to no character development in the entire four books. And Bella really needed to stop going on about how hot Edward was, I think we all got the point after the first sentence. That basically sums up my complaints about the books. As for the movie, it was horribly done. Robert Pattinson absolutely cannot act, and the producers really chose pretty bad actors for all of the parts. The only one I really liked was either James or Carlisle, the rest weren't very good at all, even Kristen Stewart. And Nikki Reed was too fat, I'm sorry, I just had to bring that up.
BUT if you really want to enjoy a mindless book, this isn't a bad series. I only go back and reread it when I'm dying of boredom and really have nothing else better to do.
