My American husband and I (a Canadian) were just thinking. When President Barack Obama came to Canada, we should have kept him here, and sent our Prime Minister Stephen Harper to the USA! LOL The neocons would have loved that, since Harper is another Bush clone. As for the Obama supporters, come to Canada with him!!!! ;-)
What do you think?

The Mountie always gets his man! He's a breath of fresh air (Obama I mean) but he's also a politician. Let's see how he does. I refuse to believe that he can be as awful as Bush was; but the jury's still out. I not that we've already been to see him at the White House, but as to when he might come here is anyone's guess.

It seems that he really does care, and that's wonderful. I'm a Canadian, married to an American, and we both think he's wonderful!

If Obama came up to Canada, I would feel sorry for the Canadian people. i would not wish Obama on anyone. Wish the Us could join up with Canada and Mr. Harper could be our Prime Minister!

Don't worry in a few more years America will be just as socialist and have the government intruding into their lives as the government does up here. Watch for many things that are legal down there becoming illegal up here. Watch for the diminishing of the small business. Watch for Americans demand to be supported from cradle to grave and afraid of earning too much money just as they do up here in Canada.
Now had there been some of the media saying Obama has his faults, maybe my dislike of Obama would be less and I also had relatives and friends who also listened to Hitler and he was just as charismatic and everyone loved him the same that you all love Obama. I believe in an equal balance, not in elated adoration of a man just because he is the first black president of America.
And I do not care for Harper either or maybe I should since there are so many Canadians who say bad things about him because he is a little too conservative for them.
Then again he is a little too liberal for me.

yeah...I don't think I'd go to live in Canada. a visit sure. hoping I can do that next year for a weekend while the Olympics are going on.
If you like Obama that much, you can come live here. lol

Your right. We should have kept Obama and sent them Harper, but it doesn't quite work
that way, not that I have to tell you that, as I am sure you already know that. hehehe
I like Obama but some people are just taking him out of context. I mean, he isn't God
and he can only do so much. Some people think of him as a messiaha, as in Jesus. I
think it has just gone too far.
I think he might do the world some good but he can't fix everything.
Alrighty then, talk to you later my friend,
Have a good mylotting day, Chris

President Obama wants to treat Canada as a partner and establish closer relationship with Canadians , he understands Canada is a trusting neighbor and beautiful country with friendly people, hope that he will take USA friendship and co-operation with Canada further during his term.

We can send him back if you still want him. We will send you Nancy Pelosi too. Don't worry about sending yours. We have Ron Paul.

Sorry, I'm for staying here and keeping Obama in the US but it's certainly nice to hear someone from another country say sometihing positive about our president for a change. Can't remember when that last happened.
