did you know that ice can burn?

yes it's true,the basis of a burn is the transfer of heat between two points.generaly associated with hot things burning you but can actually be something cold and the heat supplied by your body temperature,i just thought this may be useful for a pub quiz or something like that! lol

as i said,burning is a transfer of heat between opposing temperatured objects,therefore if the temperature of your body is lower than a flame etc.the transfer of the heat from the flame to your skin causes a burn
equally with something is as cold as ice,the difference between your body temp. and the ice means that the heat comes from your body to the ice which is technically known as a burn.have fun lotting!
