I received an e-mail from the Illinois Reublican Party yesterday stating their thoughts on the appointment of Roland Burris by our former crooked governor - Blagojevich. In the e-mail was a link to go to sign their petition for Illinois to hold a special election for the senate seat vacated by Obama. I signed it and I would encourage everyone from Illinois to go to their site and sign the petition so that we are not stuck with someone appointed by a crook - and the person filling that senate seat will be the choice of the Illinois people - lets get Illinois back on track. Burris can run if he wants to but let the people decide.

Good for the people of Ill. I hope enough of you sign it and that way you do get a special election. You need someone there that the people want in office...not someone a crook decided he wanted to be there.

All the democrats are just crooked in Illinois, so having a special election would give the other party a chance in actually winning something. Which would show them that not everyone is crooked. I'm almost postive the people of Illinois will cast their vote and elect the right person into the position.
