keep a lasting relationship??
i mean with friends..
its a fact that most people who claim that they love each other, at some point, end up parting ways..
but for friends, its least likely that people hear about them breaking up..
so im just wondering..
how do friends keep the friendship??

I think communication is really important. If you never talk with your friends, find out how they are and what is going in with them, and vice versa, then unfortunately it is quite likely you will drift apart. It will end up where you don't have anything in common with those people any more, and so the friendship eventually just fizzles out.
It's a shame, but that's life unfortunately.

I think it's just need to be honest to your friends.Try your bese to help your friends when they're in trouble.Keep contact with them constantly. In one word,Treat your friends as yourself.

To tell you the truth I wish someone would give me an answer to that one myself.
I have always wanted to have a long lasting friendship but I have fell short over the years.
I have moved around quite a bit and so things just happen and people change.
People come and go and if you can find a good friend then that is a good thing.
I think that just keeping the communication open and spending regular time with a person could keep the relationship alive.

i feel for you..
i dont move around that much but whenever i go to a different school, like when i was in elementary, high school, and college..i different friends and i just dont know how to keep them all..
i do have permanent friends though..but sometimes i feel like im not that good of a friend because i dont check up on them that often..
so its settled..
communication is the key. :D
