What are the best games for Nintendo Wii?
My husband and I recently bought a Nintendo Wii, and I am already aching all over because of playing Wii sports until the early hours. But since I am fairly new to the world of Wii, I was wondering what are the best games out there.
So what do you recommend, and why? Also, what about the accessories. We have two controllers and two nunchucks. Are there any other essentials which you would recommend?

I don't have a Wii yet but I do know that Animal Crossing City Folk is a huge game for people that have a Wii. It was a huge hit on the gamecube and on the DS. It's a really laid back game where you interact with animal villagers and can connect with friends online. The only thing you really need is the voice chat to talk to people online. It may be something you'll want to look into if you want something a little more laid back.

The whole idea of the game is that you move into a new town and you are the only human. You collect fruit, make clothes, dig up fossils and stuff. However, on the Wii, you can take a bus and go to the city to catch a show or go shopping. Some people like it, some people don't.

I understand that you can rent the games from some places, like dvds. Perhaps I should do that first, then if I like it, I can buy.
Thanks for the extra info.

Oh great, thanks for that info, I'm sure it will be useful when we are looking at what games to buy.
I find that the two lines on the back of the cd case don't really give very much info, and it's good to know what other people think, and what is popular.
Thanks for your response.

Do you have a Big Lot store in your area? If you do they have the Wii accessories on sale for $5. It was the golf club, stearing wheel and tennis racket.

I have been looking for a solar pump for my fountain for over a year. It seems that Ebay has them and they have gone down 20 dollars from last year.

No we don't have that store here, but I think I know the accessory set you mean. My husband has ordered it from ebay. When in doubt ebay seems to be the place to find stuff!

The wii fit seems really hard to get hold of, it's not in any of the shops near where I life. I think if I want to get it, I will have to order it online and get it delivered. But I also think it will be good to lose the weight this way. You don't notice the exercise so much if you are playing games and having fun.

Hehe that makes two of us then. I'm keen to know what games are good since I don't want to waste good money on stuff which is rubbish.
Thanks for your response.
