It doesnt take much time at all to cool down my temper as I dont really have one. I work very hard at keeping an even keel and not getting mad. I try to deal with things in other ways. I will walk away before fighting back. I dont beleive you can reason with anyone while they are angry.

I like you don't have much of a temper and if I do get angry it doesn't take me long to get over it. I also try to deal with things in other ways and will walk away from a fight rather than stand there and argue. The only time I don't back down is where it comes to one of my children. They both have the label of autism and I find that if I don't speak up and speak up fast they don't get fair treatment or services that they need.

Yes its much better to walk away than stand and argue and maybe say something you dont mean that could be very hurtful. On the other hand, I fully agree with what you said about standing up for your children. I would too,,the medical profession sometimes is something that can make me angry...lol

Hi,
It will be lie to tell that I donot become frustrated or angry at times. But I donot loose control.therefore, I cool down quickly and try to arrive at a possible solution, rather than looking at the problems and loose cool again.

I usually kept silent while controlling my emotion. I feel bad when I'm in a temper. So I always try to calm down. I found out that when I'm angry I can't think clearly. Most of the things I say is not objective anymore. It would be either offensive or defensive. And I know with that attitude I can't solve any problem. I may even make itu bigger. So, I just stay quite until I cool down. I usually not take so much time. After I cool down, I can handle things better. I think it brings benefit to both sides.

three things we should have our control upon.. our laughter, our emotions, and the most important is our anger.
When we are angry at some point of time at that moment we are actually not ourselves..if we say anything to anyone in our anger it is not we talking it's our anger talking...and no could help and the words cannot be taken back when they already spokened.
I used to be very very short tempered..but in the initial years i have managed to control my anger..and leading quite a good life now because for me it used to take a lot of time calm down myself and stop thinking about scene, the cause of my anger...and what all i ruined in my anger...yes i think a lot of damage has been done.
