What Do You Think About The Prices Of Food & Drink In The Cinemas? Expensive?

Last time we went, we nipped into Sainsburys & got 2 cheese rolls, a couple of bagels, 2 chocolate sundaes (all with 'reduced to clear' labels on) & a bottle of water.... cost us £1.98!! No-one challenged us. I reckon they make enough money on ticket prices, they shouldn't need to rip us off on food & drink... though its probably franchised so unconnected.

I think the prices are rediculous for food at theators. Like one theator one hot dog cost four dollars now thats pathetic. I dont mind the price of a large popcorn though because at least you can refill it for free like a drink and I usally end up getting a free refill which is why I dont mind it as much as other food.

they are extrememly expensive. i miss being in college. we had a theater right off campus that charged you $4 a ticket and then for another $4 you could have unlimited fountain drinks and pop corn. the best thing was that he would let you split that with another person so for $2 it was unlimited! $6 for an entire night out! you really couldn't beat that.

yupp.its costly even here in india...but wen it comes to local theater itll be cheap...but when its a good theater its damn costly

Yes,,the prices of food and drinks are much more greater than the normal price.The popkorn and drink costs more than a movie ticket.And i think that the government should take a note about this and take some steps..!!
