Why Domain Names the .com .net .info...................?

i think it's because when most people are looking for something on the internet, they think of .com which is why it's worth more. that's why if you can you want to try to also go with .com, if you go with "yourdomain.info" or "yourdomain.org," people might remember "yourdomain" but a lot of them are going to automatically assume it's .com so you might actually be sending traffic to someone else's site. my advice is to try to stick with .com you might have to be creative with your domain name as so many of them are already taken under .com
