I used to have alot of Persian cats. I had three girls two where white with blue eyes and one was calico. They all ended up having babies on the same day. So I ended up with a housefull of Persian cats. I was lucky to find homes for all of them. But at one point I really had a large amount of kittys.

I had a white persian with topaz/orange eyes. I brought her and a Siamese from Germany to the States with me. I prefer not to have white cats with blue eyes as they are prone to deafness.

hello moneymommy i have never owned any kind of a cat before. but one of my sister-in-laws has a persian cat and he is so pretty. i am not fond of cats, due to the fact that i have never been around them much. anyways, my hubby and myself went camping with my sister-in-law and her hubby at the lake several years ago, and when it was time to go to bed, i went on inside of the camper, and oh my gosh!, here came the cat, i hollered at my sister-in-law up at the other end of the camper, come quick, the cat just jumped up in the bed with me! i thought that i was going to die when that cat jumped up in the bed with me like that. my sister-in-law hollered back at me and said, it'll be ok, he just wants to get up there with you and go to sleep himself. finally after the cat turned in circles a few times, sure enough he got himself cozy and went to sleep. lol take care and have a beautiful day today!

I like cats a lot and wish I could own one again. I found out last year I am now allergic to cats so I can't get another one. They do make good pets and my dog gets along great with them.

yes I had a persian and a himalayan, they were both beautiful. I miss the himalayan the most with its beautiful baby blue eyes, the persian ran away and the himalayan did too. I also have a calico cat, right now I am a pure black, part persian (his father ran away) and I have a tabby. I also had a pure white cat that was stolen.

No, I never owned Persian cats. But, I have owned Asian cats. In fact, I have one Asia cat now too, very beautiful, very intelligent too. When I went to the Humane Society to get a cat, she was the first one who shoute "MEOW" when I walked in. So, she knew her owner had come. I took her right away ! That's how much she is intelligent ! Ha ha ! She is sitting right beside me now, and I think she knows I am talking about her !

My aunt and mother used to breed Himalayans which are Persians. I loved them all. We had at one time five females and two males. Within two weeks of each other all six females gave birth... I told my mother that Ruby (Red Ruby Tuesday) my red persian needed to be fixed since her first two pregnancies were not easy for her... she had 6 and then 7 each litter only two surviving kittens... one of which we kept. This third litter was to be her last although later on my mother gave up all our cats to good homes. Two of them even became therapy cats. I have never liked watching animals give birth, but Ruby would not stay in the box unless I was present... my mother usually watched them or they gave birth when we were asleep somewhere in a box or cupboard that they managed to get open. Ruby however kept coming into the livingroom so my Mother knew while I didn't at first that Ruby didn't want to give birth without me nearby. That cat followed me everywhere... I miss her but I was only a teenager at the time and it not being my house and all... next to Smokey a cat I had before that both of them were awesome and really loved me and liked to be in my lap or near me. They'd always be waiting for me at the door after school and if I was in my room with the door shut they'd meow until I let them in. Smokey was only a Domestic Short Hair... Ruby was an awesome little Red Persian that I still miss. I have my own cat now, shes a Black DSH, but I might get a persian or two someday after I finish College.

I really don't much care for the flat faced persians. We were involved in the rescue of one, but we found him a new home. now, back in the late 70's we were also involved in rescuing a Persian, before they had such flat faces and she also found a new home I do have 3 long haired cats, Solo, Oliver and Rio, but Solo and Oliver we've had since they were really young, only Rio came in grown - she's our Zsa Zsa cat

I am cat fanatic and I have to admit that I really love cats. Before I have persian cat and 2 siamese cats. I even joined cat shows and won some badges that made me so proud of my cats. My persian name is Chappy. She it a tortie or tortoisle in color. She's a silent type of cat and do not want to fight just like my othere cats do. She loves to stay in the bathroom to make herself feel cold and everytime she drink water, she tap the water first so that it will look fresh.
