Tips to make money on askpedia

I have joined this site since a while and am still lost. I don't really know how to make money there? I am having a 4 stars rating out of 5 now but I have not make money from the best answers. Can anyone give me some guide here. Would be much apprecited thank you.

I had not heard of this site, but I just did some searching and found out askpedia will pay people who
1.Ask a Question with the Most Answers
2.Ask a Survey Question with the Most Responses
3.Answers Questions and gets the Most Best Answers
Every month the top 3 users are picked in each category are paid $50, $30 and $20 respectively.
There are questions that provide rewards if your answer is picked as the best answer.
As there are more than 100,000 members I would say your chances of making money are quite limited. You would have to be very active and participate a lot, rather like myLot, but as it is competitive, not everyone will get the benefit of making money.

wow, paid2write, you have answered all of the questions that bugged me as i read this discussion. actually, i dropped by because i do not know a single thing about this site, askpedia.
then i encountered your response and got fully enlightened. i am thanking you for being so patient in finding out what the site is all about.
yes, i agree with you that it is not that promising if the money that one can expect from it is already pegged like that. besides, it is not that easy to become number one. then, after one has been working so much at the site, the biggest amount of pay is only fifty dollars. actually, it is a realizable earnings in mylot. only one has to work really hard at it.
maybe, in mylot, it will take a hundred responses and two discussions per day in order to earn more than sixty dollars a month.

That is sort of like the new scheme that helium is doing.
Makes it so much more difficult to earn anything. It is like joining a lucky draw to win a prize. And you have to put in a lot more effort in order to try for the prize.
Not really worth the effort if you ask me.

i do not do askpedia either, lovesummer. i got into your discussion because i was curious about it. it is the first time that i have read about that site here in mylot got posted.
i am not suppposed to post a response to this. however, after having ready the first response, i can see that it is that difficult to earn from that site.
actually your star rating is already high at four out of five. if your earnings are much too low as against the effort that you have put in there, forget about that site. it is better to concentrate on mylot then. here, we know that we will earn so much in a day if we spend a good amount of time doing some discussions, responses and comments.

yeah you should have been credited by answering or giving your response to the discussions.. I only have $0.85 earnings and I am new here too... but it works well... happy mylotting.

Don't worry about your star rating, get friends, respond to their discussions, and make discussions on your own. The more friends you have the more discussions come to you to respond to. Expand your interest selections. Pick up discussion from the top of the mylot page and from the discussions label. Get friends to join. On the bottom. of each discussion page you will see your referral label in red make sure if any of your friends join that they use that label. I'm sure others will help. Good Luck. It does take a couple of months to reach $10.00 payout, unless you put many hours into mylot
