what do you do when a friend threatens you

ok so i had a friend who wanted me to sell her my cell phone that i had bought well i refused to do that and well now her and her husband are threatening me with charges of forgery. Well back when i first go the phone, we all decided that i should be a part of their plan, Yea i know Bad bad idea, well they asked for a signature and i asked them should i sign or should they and the guy said i didn't matter well i signed for paula my friend and they i told her about and they came unglued on me. I know i wasn't thinking when i did this and well now it is coming back it get me what should i do.

If you have signed for her,then it will not create an issue.But if you have signed her signature,then you are in real problem.Just throw away that phone and cut their friendship forever.Let it be a good lesson for you.Don't go doing silly things in the name of friendship anymore.Cheers!

Forging someone's signature is a big mistake. But you say they are your friends so try to solve the problem in a friendly way. Hopefully you can do that and you've learned an important lesson. I hope things work out!

Forgery is never a good idea, but I think you should document what you've shared here in a letter for future use. You might want to consider getting legal advise on the situation just to know your options. Other then that, you may want to end the friendship, and if they do press charges take your documentation to court with you and do have legal counsel. Good luck to you. Anora
