Do you need help reaching your payout for February?

I'm with you beachstarz! I'm also new here and still trying to figure stuff out. Might I ask what is wrong with posting a link if it helps other people find information that would be totally helpful to them?

I like posting to questions or answers, as it is such a broad category, and I normally get the best responses from here. I do use the other categories like life or making money online. When I post to other areas, where I know folks are likely to post links in their responses, I'll put in my discussion at the end, please do not post links, if you want to refer someone to a site that you are working, please leave a comment to ask them to visit your profile. I've found that to be very effective as I heard and read about the horrible stories of several discussions being deleted. I definitely feel for the person who start discussions but only to see them deleted.

I am not the expect, but I've been hearing that if you post pictures that they helps out a lot. Plus if friends of yours comment on your photos that also helps. I do hope you make payout this month. I know I'll be there within the next couple of days, at least by the 23rd, but no later than the 25th of the month.

Yeah I know that I will not earn anything by the above response. It was a hurried one. So, if I say thank you to all my responders I could get reported. Glad you said that. I do not thank everyone but I do thank most people. Sometimes I put that if I do not want to comment and start a rucus. I have noticed a lot of discussions that tell you how to earn money on here and most of them say that you have to write ten lines to earn anything from what you write.

Saying thank you is against the guidelines and is frowned upon. It won't hurt or help your earnings, but you are only supposed to respond if you have something valuable to say, besides just thank you. If you say just thanks for responding to all your responses you may be reported, which can hurt your earnings.. I also noticed you posted a one line response to this discussion. Those will not earn you anything. You need at least 2-3 lines to have a quality response, and most people post 4-5.

I've read a lot of the posts as well, and I've come up with a happy median myself. That is 7-9 lines worth of text. Yeah responding to folks with "Thanks for posting," is against mylot's rules. I try to respond to everyone that responds to my discussions, but it isn't always as easy. So I usually skip the ones, where I can't really think of anything else to say.

Well you can rest easy in knowing that if you don't make the minimum payout then you've probably make payout for sure next month, and maybe even a little more.

I wanted to help those that were interested in cashing out by the end of the month. Yes I know that everyone here has different agendas and believe me, I truly enjoy the learning experience that I've gained here. I continue to learn from some very intelligent people on here about how to do this or that. I've also learned about other sites that are legit in paying it's members as well. Which is always a plus in my opinion.

You have a 10 blue star, so, I'm sure some folks on here think you post good quality responses. Good for you. I'm sure you're earn more than your $1 that you need to reach payout. This response was a good one with 4-5 lines of text.

Yeah I give all responders the appropriate + mark for responding to my posts. I rarely have given a - or a ! for stopping by.

Good for you, challenges and personal goals help us to strive to do more and to stretch beyond our supposed limitations. Post some images to your discussions you start as well, that is supposed to help you reach payout quicker as well, so I've been told.

It doesn't take much, and you don't have to be a brain surgeon or rocket scientist. You just have to enjoy talking via typing or communicating in written form.

There is nothing wrong with that at all. Good for your jump start. I hope you double the normal payout this time around.

The most important thing is to have fun with it. Mylot has a good reputation of being one of the few sites that actually pays it's members, as long as it's members are doing what they have to do in order to be paid. When I first started, I thought, wow it's going to take me a long time, then I kept asking others how to increase my earnings, etc... I got some very valuable responses in return. Those responses helped me establish my own system or method of operating and thus, I am where I am now. I haven't reach the minimum of $10 yet, but I'm sure within the next 15 posts, I'll probably have it knocked out with something to spare. It's always fun to see others respond to the discussions I start. A lot of new folks respond to discussions such at these with very little questions. I'm not made like that if I want to do something, I ask all the questions, that I possible can, in order to have the best performance that I think I can produce. It's always been the way I've been made.

I'm happy you found the information useful in reaching your goals. Maybe next month you can reach your minimum payout goal by the 15th of the month, wouldn't that be great to have the rest of the month to cruise and rest a while?

Wow that is a dilemma you have there. I would start more discussions and respond to 15 posts myself. I would start around 20 to 25 discussions myself though in various categories, that way the few that take off like rocket ships will keep your earnings going up while you are away from the computer. But it is important to engage the people that respond to your discussion. Otherwise you might get boycotted, like I've boycotted some folks on here. I know some have probably done the same to me, but I don't mind.

There really isn't any reason to rush it, as long as you know it's coming, right!

Very nice way of putting it. I wasn't trying to put any pressure on anyone, rather take the pressure off of them. Today is the 21st of Feb, which means we have exactly 7 days left to post or not post. What this discussion was supposed to do was inspire and be informative enough for others to have an avenue to see their goal ahead is actually reachable if they just dug deep within themselves. And not give up, especially if the payout for them means a lot more than it does for others. I know a few people on here who must make the payout on a monthly basis so that they will have something to spend outside of their household budget. I don't like have to pressure people, and I didn't mean to make it seem as though I was trying put any undo "stress on anyone." Believe me I know all about stress, and the effects of it. There are many people that proscrastinate and wait to the ninth hour to try and reach their payout goals, and when they fall short due to that very procrasination, they tend to get upset and not want to participation any further. That's was the true meaning behind this post, I'm an encourager by nature and I like empower people with the tools they need to be successful.

That's the reasoning for starting the discussion so that everyone could earn earlier in the month. As you said: "The time to cram in a lot of discussions is the beginning of the month, then you can cruise if you want later." I thought this discussion could motivate some folks to shake off the slackness in their mylot participation and get the job done.

Yes I understand completely. I have only been here a few months but at month's end there is a scramble and this is a short month.

You have a green start next to your name, as you start to write more quality responses, people will start voting your response as the best answer, thus taking your activity and rating up. The highest color star is the blue 10. After I reached the 100 mark, I had a red 9, but after responding to some more posts, I received several "best response answers" surprisingly to me, and then it jumped up to the blue 10. I know I'm not an expert, but I do share the tips and tricks that I've come to learn while here on mylot. Thanks for your response. I pray you have much success with mylot and welcome by the way.
