Why did you buy your console?

So, we know that currently there are three consoles from this generation, Xbox360, PS3 and Wii. But out of a choice of three most only bought one. So for what reason did you pick one over the other. I have a PS3 and bought it instead of the others because mainly, my friends have one and i wanted to play with them online. Also i read in most places that the PS3 has alot of hardware for such a small price. I never really used blu-ray even though i have a HD TV.

Well, I have a Wii. Pretty much all the consoles I have are Nintendo ones. They're always known for their durability and the games are fun. At the time, it was the cheapest console out there and I wanted to experience a new way to play. Also, I was enticed by the Virtual Console.

Yes, the reason the wii is so popular is because it's the new way to play. It's really fun when playing with other people and it's for people who aren't super serious about games which is basically everyone.

I'm super serious about games. Just because I have a Wii and not a 360 or a PS3 doesn't mean I'm not a hardcore gamer. I have a huge collection of games on pretty much all of my consoles.

i bought my console for the purpose of entertainment alone, we have our PC back then but we don't have an internet access so i bought my very first console and that is a Nintendo Gamecube then Playstation One, then another Playstation 2, and lastly is a Sony Playstation Portable. i really loved games, and i think that i can't live without them hehe
