How did you wean your baby and at what age?

My baby is already 2 years old and i am still breastfeeding her. I have a plan to wean her coz she is already big and she would go to my classroom and request me to breastfeed her even if i have a class.

Well, my daughter is 20 now, so I'm talking about a long time ago - just before her second birthday, her teeth were beginning to hurt me when I was feeding her. She was already nearly weaned, and I had decided to carry on with one feed at night-time until she was two, then I would stop. About 2 days before her birthday she stopped, as though she had made her own mind up about it. I was so relieved!

when i had my baby,i dont have a problem.she did it alone not to drinking milk from me. my mother said try to give the kid a proper food and lots of liquid then she or he wil not asking your milk anymore. i your case 2 yrs is too long but i know its healthy very healthy.my little girl stop when she was around 6 months and she just sleep till morning and not even hear her crying.
