Do you belive in collective psychology?

As time has left by in my life i have met a lot of people. Interesting people from all over this world. Anyhow, i often find myself in conversation with creative people one subject that repeats. And that is the collective psychology. That somehow we have a collective line that connects people. Like if you do exactly what you want to do, you often will find yourself in situations where you find yourself extremely comfortable. How is that and why? Is it connected with a collective psychology?
Is it faith maybe?

This phenomenon even I have felt in life. Sometimes what I am thinking same my group of workers were thinking so together the work was done. You call it collective psychology or I feel that in one way or other we all are connected by our subconscious and to our subconscious there is one universal consciousness which guides to complete a work or creative persuits.

It seem like creative people can sense this universal consciousness.
Sometimes it frightening and sometimes it's good.
But is the universal consciousness the universal truth?
