Hello myLotter! I did my IQ test few years ago to count my Intelligent Quotient and already forgot :D. I do not know what exactly the meaning of IQ but what I know is, the higher your IQ, the smarter you are. I do not believe that our IQ will determine our ability of successfull study life. Because of that, I never do IQ test again and do not feel it's necessary for me to do that. Do you agree that our IQ is important and measure our real ability?

yes, i think so though people more focus on other factors. with an outstanding IQ, people can react fast, think rapidly , memorize fast, and enjoy so many "fast", which makes his study easier than other students. and some subjects demand high IQ. besides, interest is more important i think.

I always think that IQ should not be a decisive factor to do something. Let say according to IQ test, you should do this and this while in fact you don't really like to do that things. Sometimes, I feel that IQ is there to be broken, i.e. there maybe some geniuses but I believe as a human being you can still compete with them. Of course, if your ability is not as high as that person, then you should work harder.

Yes, I agree with the previous posts that IQ doesn't really make a difference on your academic performance. Maybe in math or logic you might get a very little upper hand or momentum but it doesn't literally make you an instant genius. I have this classmate who really has high IQ but he has super duper low grades! In fact, he's going to summer 3 subjects this coming summer...he totally became confident with his IQ i guess. but don't get me wrong I'm not saying people with High IQ are stupid but.. still you have to study hard and work hard for you to achieve your dream. anyway hope my answer helped. Happy my lotting!

Hard work is as important as IQ,i think . For me ,i am not that smart or talented ,but ,i tried my best when i was in senior school and finally i was accepted by a famous university in our country . So if one works hard in his or her study ,he or she will be successful one day . And real ability is not destined ,right ?It depends on how much you give .

To be brutally honest, a person's I.Q. doesn't really affect all that much in life. Granted, someone with a high I.Q. is going to have a much simpler time grasping concepts and ideas and learning new things as opposed to someone with a low I.Q. But still, for the vast majority of the population who have an average I.Q. it really plays no bearing on anything of importance. I have an above average I.Q. and was invited to join Mensa as a teenager. I can tell you first hand though, that life for me isn't any simpler, easier or better than it is for anyone else. So no, my personal opinion is that one's I.Q. is largely irrelevant :)
