What is the story behind the capital "L" in myLot?

I too think same , and as far as my view is concern this way of writing is known as camelwriting in which first letter would be small and second letter should be capital , thanks for sharing

Well, I think its for emphasis like lot of lots, its like owning something like your own say this is my house, my pet and well maybe MyLot with a capital L. Looks pretty cool to look at too. Well, who knows ? That is just my guess as well.. That is a good observation you have, keep on posting !

just for fun... i think the person who started mylot is a male and her love of his life's name is lot so he calls her my lot and started the site with that name.... myLot. sounds stupid huh? but just like i said it was just for fun. i really dont know what is the reason or maybe it is just a style.

Like iPod, iMac, iTouch, iPhone, iWorks, iLife and soon products of Apple are iRan shoes and iRack shelves.... whatever.... lol.... Anyway.... myLot is consisting of two words combined in to two. And it symbolize each individual of myLot. The "my" is in lowered case first because a symbol individuals for respects, humility, meek or kindness. And "Lot" for marketing and selling each individuals ideas, views, concepts, perceptions and informations, and also means a lot of interactions. ^_^ Salamat!.... and Enjoy!.... myLot!....

wow! good1 i have never noticed that. actually i didn't think of that much. i have seen this some places. i think may be it is just for attraction or cool look .

I think its basically a combination of two words – my and lot which means ‘my group’ – lot means ‘group’. ‘L’ is capitalized to differentiate between the two words.

Maybe because it's the letter in the centre & they would want the logo to look more symmetrical? Maybe they hoped it would be a reflection of the "Love" of the people towards myLot? Hmm...so many possibilities? It could just be that it looks nicer & not so plain?

Very keen, detective modstar. I too noticed that but I just didn't care. :-D Well, I guess the L is just used to indicate that my and Lot are two different words. So instead of putting a space, or "underscore" symbol, they capitalized L for that exact purpose. *shrugs, LOL

wow! what an observation, actually I'm totally clueless about this but I guess for me it's for aesthetic purposes, you see it's way too cool if myLot is written in this form than just plain mylot or Mylot...and same for the rest... ^-^

hmmm probably just to make it sound more interesting? HAHA I really dont know... i've never even thought about it :p
