It's 11:20pm. I've been up since 6am. Going to sleep-in an hour tomorrow and set the alarm for 7. Although I know the internal alarm-clock-devil that lurks inside me will awaken me beforehand. I have a pair of pressed Khaki's and a crisp white Ralph Lauren Polo buttondown ready to throw on in the morning. Think I'll wear my brown square-toe leather Sketchers. A brown belt and socks. Tommy Hilfiger boxers, white. I know I know, T M I! Too Much Information! Sleep tight everyone, I love you all! No not really.

Oh, it's sad, but I already know because they're all laid out (all except the underwear and the socks, that is). I'll be wearing a white V-neck maternity t-shirt, faded levi jeans (they just barely fit with the belly, I won't be able to wear them much longer), and a blue Old Navy hoodie. I don't normally lay my clothes out the night before, but I have an early class tomorrow, and since I'm transitioning to maternity clothes I don't have them all in one place. It's easier to lay them out the night before than to have to scramble around that morning and try to find something to wear.

Outstanding Chewy! Congrats! Is this your first? Ok, Ok, I'm not going to say all those cliche' things people with kids say. I'll just sum it up in two words, love embodied. Who doesn't love an Old Navy hoodie and faded levi's? Nobody, that's who. Have a good day at school Chewy.
Oh hold on a minute.... Are you going to keep the Mini? I've sat in the back seat of one, it isn't too cramped...but for a baby seat. You got a plan?

Fabulous! The Mini stays then. I had a little sports car up until 3 weeks before my son was born. Then I got a sedan. I tricked out the sedan with leather and all the bells and whistles so it made it a little easier. But after having my son turns out we only carted him around in my wife's new minivan. So I could have held onto the sports car a while.
So are you going to find out what you're carrying, Boy or a Girl? How far along are you if you don't mind me asking. I'm excited for you!

Thanks for the congratulations! Yes, it's our first.
And heck yes, I'm keeping the MINI! It was my first baby. :) just kidding. Seriously, it'll be fine. I know it won't be the most convenient while the infant car seat is rear facing (having only 2 doors) but I just can't give up the Mini right now. I have been known to tote my niece and nephew (2 car seats) around in the back seat before, and they had plenty of room.

Wow! You actually plan out what your going to wear?
Well, when I did work an office job, I would have an idea of what I would wear the next morning...but I also knew it ws subject to change depending on my mood. LOL
You know, the whole woman thing.....
Do I look fat? Did I just gain an inch overnight? Did I really pick this color? This is not a Monday thing, its a Friday thing. I just wore that a few days ago and just because I washed it does not mean everyone else will know that. LOL
I think men have it easier. Nice khaki's, button down shirt, and the occasional undershirt. You just have to decided what color to wear from shirt to boxers. LOL (Threw the boxer thing in for ya gotOBX.)
Let's not even discuss hair or makeup!!!!
Men, you have it much easier.:)

Am I showing my "Metro" side with this discussion or what Tia!?!? I guess I would agree with you that woman have it tougher. So funny, I can relate to some of your comments, A Monday thing, versus a Friday thing. For me it is more of a do I have a meeting today, or will I be at my desk most of the day? Will their be clients in today, or is the big, big, big boss in town today kind of thing. Is it a nice pair of jeans and a polo or pull-over day, or a slacks and buttondown day. They are split about 50-50 with my job. You poor girl, all those variables in the mix. I'm bloated! Bad Hair Day! Rings under my eyes! I'm fat! I do have a t-shirt on beneath my buttondown, and my boxers are very comfortable thankyouverymuch! Oh by the way...you might be interested in knowing I've toned down the starch in my shirts. I have the drycleaner use medium starch now instead of heavy. Used heavy all my life, but I'm mixing it up a little. We'll give it a couple weeks, but I'm liking the medium so far....

When I was young my mother always ironed my shirts and used spray starch. I iron now too, but only the easy stuff, t-shirts, polos, jeans if they need it and boxer believe it or not. My dress shirts go to the cleaners and get pressed. I even iron my sons clothes if they need it. So is it okay still to be Metro! LOL, or do I take it just a bit too far? Glad to hear your kids are kids! I don't get the whole exposed boxers thing, I can only imagine what will be the style when my boy is older.

Metro? Maybe just a little. Oh wait! You actually send your shirts to a cleaners and care about the strach level. Yeah, I think your showing your Metro side. :)
Honestly, that's okay. I wish more men were Metro. Heck, I wish my kids were more Metro!!! My teenager boys seem to be in a grunge thing or the baggy show my boxers thing.
So I say to you, be proud to be Metro! :)
