You are right, cricket is not only for guys. Its just that it has been played by men over a longer period of time than women. I am a big cricket fan and am also looking forward to the World Cup. Women's cricket has been on scene for a while now but the lack of sponsorships and media exposure has not allowed women's cricket to grow. But i hope that someday women's cricket will be able to create an extensive fan base just as big as men's cricket. I would definitely want to be a part of that.

Well my friend none of the sports was restricted to any particular gender and so if women are playing cricket than it is a very good thing to happen. Although the game does not get that the popularity like the men's World Cup and other types of cricket competition is but I guess it will come up with time. There are white a few very famous players in them and cricket and they got a lot of awards such as lifetime achievement and many others. I personally feel that sports is something which should be encouraged no matter which gender is playing it. Although there are favourites in every sports category but no matter what both are important.
