I'm going to show my child graphic pictures of STD's

from my pathology book when he gets older. I'm not going to just say don't have s@x because I said so. I'm going to show him these pictures and introduce him to unwed mothers and perhaps a few people dying from AIDS. If they are by then or the next big thing.
And of course, I will talk to him about the emotional aspect of being intimate before your ready. And what it means when they're pushed into things and how its bull twinkies that they're causing pain etc.
I also plan to take him to the hospital and introduce him to babies and children dying of second hand smoke and others dying of cancer from smoking directly. And stories of families who lost loved ones to drunk drivers. And guys in jail for life for this so called involuntary manslaughter.

You are a good mother or father .I think what you do is what other parents want to do .I am a non-smoking boy .M y parents told me not to do that when I was young.

I think that's great. I know many parents though, who say don't do this or that, but don't really explain, and their kids wind up smoking or drinking or worse.
