Is this an alien...or a Troll?

This person only had 2 posts, when I received the request, and that is why I did not approve right away, and tried to go to Profile Page....thought it was just a computer glitch when it went to "Web Page Cannot be Found"...that's why I waited and have tried quite a few times! Now, I am wondering if I out this person, and they have come back with another user name & avatar, will I be trolled out of myLot!

Thank you, certainly must respect your response...you have been here on this long enough, that I would be willing to bet that nothing surprises you! This is my second year, here, with a few hiatuses, and there seems to be a different atmosphere! Thanks, once again!

If the first account is no longer active they willnot be aware whether you accept or deny the friendship request. I'm sure you have nothing to worry about on that count

I went to answer your post about sense of humour...and somewhere (I can't believe it) you have violated some guidelines....even tho' reading it several times over, I cannot see what...so therefore couldn't reply! Hey, winterose...thanks for responding! Sorry, I have been so long in replying, but the last four days, I think my computer has spring fever, and the slugs got into it.....S L O W! But only, on myLot...so don't know what's up, but it took me 1/2 hr. this morning to do two posts. So gave up! Better this afternoon! Just getting my firewood in...as we have another snow storm predicted for tonite...enuff already! Cheers!

As this discussion goes on, and I have done what you Senior (as in responses) have suggested, I think this game has turned into trolling! I did not accept the first one, 9 days later a "new friend request" turned out to be so similar to the old one(hope I am not head-shy)....I did read the profile, so I denied it! Yesterday morning another one was there...read the profile...and it fit neatly in the same slot! I think I have some-one just re-inventing themselves weekly! All have very few posts! Would I be better to accept them, and then report them, as they could be doing this to some-one else? Thank you, and have a super Sunday! Cheers!

It sounds like they can be either a troll and an alien put together. They are an alien because they don't exist. And they can be a troll because they are trying to cause trouble.

Good morning, yes, so far, I have just left it as a request. Have attempted profile page a # of times! Never had a request from a 2 onlytime poster before, and that was the first loop...then name...and avatar! Hope you are having a great Sunday...weather is just changing here to precip..after nearly a week of sunny days & freezing nites...poor little crocus & primula can't figure this one out! Cheers!

Thanks for sharing! I guess the world is like a fruitcake...if there weren't a few nuts in it, it just wouldn't be right! Sad, that there are just some things that can't be left alone...like myLot! I guess there is some form of demented pleasure, in taking something as comfortable as myLot...and turning it into a uncomfortable, nasty experience! Now that I have some confidence, due to my friends on myLot, I will deny, but sure wished I could post the picture for all to see! And would be a lot more confident if there was some assurance that the person could NOT come back! I have "outed" the name and avatar in above post! I have posted the name several times in my responses, but will include it here; it is;TRUEASSASSIN, and the avatar is a dark complected man looking sideways out of a grey "hoodie"! It was the name, first that set me off...and then looking at the avatar, sent shivers up my spine! Sure hopte that you are right..about the vacuum! On the comment above, if you have time, I have given the name, (that alone I think is unusual) and couple that with the avatar...it conjures up NOT the kind of experience I look for here on myLot!
