i also saw that in yahoo. it would be unique to live in a cave. but if i should buy it, i would just stay there to get away from the hustle and bustle of the daily life. on a daily basis, i would still want to live in a normal house.

May be for the sake of adventure, but generally speaking if I have a home what madness should make me want to live in a cave?

OMG! its beautiful. And it is close enough to my home about a hours drive, I could take a real look. Talk about your eco friendly home. Yep, like you I want it. Can't afford it though.

Yes and no. I mean it really IS unusual. I see though no one took an interest in it though as the auction ended and there weren't any bidders or at least wasn't sold unless they relisted it. I would think living in a cave would be always be very cold though no? I kind of agree with the one responder here...think I would prefer a treehouse...LOL

That is incredibly unique!! I want it too! I wish we could all help these people keep their home. It's too cruel for them to have to sell it.

This beautiful cave must cost an arm and a leg. More and more,I think the air in the cave must be humid, it's not good for your body health.

I watched that on Yahoo news last night. I love it, its so unique and beautiful. I tried to find it on ebay and couldn't seem to find the listing. I would love to have a house like that. I hope the guy figures something out so he doesn't loose his home. if he does end up selling it I hope he gets a good price for it.

There are lots of times that i wish i could find a cave out somewhere and just throw a sleeping bag into and hide out from the world sometimes. I get tired of all of the problems of the world and the loneliness of an unfriendly world.

Wow! That is definitely unique. I have never seen anything like that before! That is really cool, although I'm not sure I would want to buy it and live in it for a long time. I think it might be neat to stay there for awhile, but I don't think I'd want it as a permanent home.
It is a very interesting idea, though! Thanks for sharing that link!

Interesting concept, but I'd rather live in a tree... more daylight.

I watched that too and yeah, it is nice, but he did the really stupid thing like so many did few lyears back and took out loan more than he could pay for - he said he did a balloon note loan - after X amount of years with a very small payment, the whole note is due and now he can't pay the balance due or get it refinanced so he has to let it go to foreclosure unless he can sell it. I don't feel bad for him at all...that is just stupid kind of loan to do...anyone with the sense God give a goose knows not to pledge to more than you can pay for...especially since...did you see the interior! Boy, that had to have cost a bundle of money! And all that money could have gone to savings toward the balloon.
