I once started a discussion about people's favorite fruits. It seems like the all-time champion is the banana! Now i am curious on what vegetables you love to eat, and what are those you can't stand?
My personal favorites are broccoli (I like to eat them raw or saute them in olive oil, butter, and garlic), Lettuce (because I love salad), and I know a tomato is a fruit but I still see it as a vegetable! As a kid i ate a lot of tomatoes and my father called me "Liz Kamatis". My name is Liz and "kamatis" is the Filipino word for tomato!
The vegetable I don't like is bitter melon... I don't think a lot of people like them... how about you?

I think my two most favorites are tomatos and sweet corn on the cob. I love almost any vegetable though. The only two I can think of that I don't like are squash and asparagus. Other than that I eat just about any of them.

I too love the broccoli. I especially love it when it is sauteed with mushroom and fresh scallops. But that is one expensive dish. Normally I would just go with chicken and garlic with the broccoli.
Other vegetables I love would be the Chinese Cabbage. Love to eat them in soups and stews. Best when cooked with canned pork. Otherwise, in a stew with roasted duck or in a soup with salted duck. All good.
Vegetables I hate? Erm... not many. But Kang Kong comes to mind.

I really like vegetable and it's hard for me to pick just one! I think if I had to pick just one to eat everyday it would be green beans. My favorite way to make them is to cook them like regular and then saute them in a pan with a little bit of olive oil, garlic, oregano, parsley and basil. I also love them plain.
I absolutely hate brussel sprouts and mushrooms. Ick, I will not either of these and would not be sad if they just disappeared off the earth. Haha.

My favorite vegetable is the potato because I love baked potatoes with sour cream and chives but I also like asian vegetables, broccoli, and peppers in stir frys. I've never had bitter melon before so I'm not sure if I would like it or not.

I like to eat broccoli the most. It is especially delicious when I boil it in with a chicken bouillon seasoning whether in a cube or in a jar. I also like to add butter to broccoli and also sweet corn.
I have heard of a banana as a fruit but I was wondering if you knew that a banana is actually an herb? I read that somewhere when I was looking up interesting facts on line about different subjects.

My favorite vegetable is broccoli because I like the texture and the taste. I love cabbage, squash and potato. I don't like tomatoes (as you have said they are fruit) and I don't like slimy vegetables. I also don't like bitter gourd or bitter melon. I hate eating raw vegetables like salads maybe because I don't want the taste. I wish I could eat more kinds of vegetables because I know they are better to our health than meats.

Let's see...There are certain vegetables that I love to eat at all-you-can-eat salad bars, so I always stock up on the following when making my own salad:
1. Broccoli
Where do I start? I love to eat broccoli because of the crunchy texture, the top of the broccoli, and it's best if eaten cold in salads. That's the one thing I just love to get at salad bars in all-you-can-eat restaurants like Ryan's, Golden Corral, etc. I just can't resist that soft bumpy texture on the top. That's one of the reasons I like to eat broccoli.
2. Cauliflower
Same thing, but a few differences. Sure it has the same crunch, but it's harder to chew, and it tastes great with ranch or caesar dressing.
3. Celery
I only eat the stick part and not the leaves, but this is a refreshing thing to eat with salads, on its own or chopped up to pieces.
4. Carrots
If it wasn't for a certain childhood character, I wouldnt've been into carrots as much. I've heard that eating carrots is good for the eyes though.

hi, I love bitter melon... it tastes good when you cook with ground pork in it. I know you will say I am silly, but I love to cook like that. I love salad as well but no tomatoes for me because I ate them lot when I was pregnant my first baby and now I am sick of it. I love green bean, carrot, on choic, onion, ...
Mostly I love something green...
