Howdy!Yes, I was there and watched the ring fade out and disappear right on her finger.
On a road between two small towns in Washington State there is a particularly dangerous "blind" curve. It is even worse than just the fact that one cannot see the road ahead, there is an intersection ("T" type) just past the bend of the curve (when one is traveling eastward). It was my habit in those times to walk several miles per day on that road. One day as I was walking westbound, approaching the curve, there was a car stopped in the eastbound lane waiting for traffic to clear westbound so that a left turn could be made. I was just about even with the middle of that vehicle when another car came around the curve at high speed (it was a sixty mph speed limit in that area at the time). With traffic oncoming in the westbound lane and the car stopped in the eastbound lane there was no place for the oncoming vehicle to go except the right-hand shoulder, directly at me! I was about three feet from the outside edge of the shoulder (on the inside, next to the pavement). The side of the road was covered in rather thick brush at that point. I looked up and saw the car barreling toward me at high speed, a mere fifteen or so feet away. There wasn't even time to react at all considering the speed of the car and its proximity. Had I remained in place the car would have struck me right in the middle of its hood. The next thing I knew, I was standing about ten feet off the side of the road in the middle of a clump of brush, facing the car rushing past the place I had been standing only a second or less before!
Odd thing is, there was NO indication that I had jumped into the brush or plowed through it to reach the place I found myself standing - no bent or broken branches, no footprints - nothing disturbed at all. My only conclusion was that I had "teleported" (or perhaps had been moved by some "outside" agency?) to the spot I was standing! Another odd thing about the experience was that I was not "shaken up" or even mildly upset at all. No racing heart, weak knees, none of the "normal reactions I've always experienced in such frightening circumstances before. I felt calm and totally unconcerned. I made my way through the brush back to the shoulder of the road and continued my walk toward home. I had gone only a few feet when the driver (a young woman) and her male passenger came running down the road toward me, obviously VERY distressed. I assured them that I was fine, they had not hit me, all was ok. The woman was in tears and very shaky, as she was convinced she had hit me. After a couple of minutes of assurance that all was well, they returned to their car and I walked on home, rather bemused at the whole experience.

Howdy!!
I have seen MANY things which are/would be "unbelievable" in "ordinary" reality, one of which was to watch a gold and amethyst ring fade out and disappear from a woman's finger, and to find it two hours later hanging in its usual place on her "ring tree"....
