Mockey Rourke is going to appear at Wrestlemania but not in a Wrestling Capacity

I was watching a late Night Chat SHow with Johnathon Ross in the UK, as Im Welsh and Mickey Rourke was a guest on the Show. He was talking about certain things such, as previously having no respect for the Wrestling profession, having an amateur Boxing background, but through the training he has done he has a newfound respect for biz. ANyway he did mention that he would be on WM25, but was advised against wrestling, as we know he isnt, but, he did mention about appearing at the show....I was just wondering in what capacity. Care to Speculate? I wonder is this may have anything to do with Hulk Hogan Appearing as well..

I still think Mickey Rourke will face Jericho at WrestleMania 25. He is just saying he is not because he is up for a best actor award at the Oscars. After the Oscars are done, we will see what Rourke will do. If he won't wrestle Jericho, he will probably be sitting ringside or even be in Ric Flair's corner and there could be a Flair vs. Jericho match.

I cant see him wwrestling. He said he was advised not to wrestle, and he said he was going to listen, but he said he would be there in some capacity.

From what I've read, he won't be appearing on Raw until after the Academy Awards this Sunday, so I have to wonder if it's true he'll be facing Jericho at Wrestlemania. Of course, that would mean Jericho would have to job. Maybe they'll film vignettes with Hogan training Rourke and Hogan will be in his corner at Wrestlemania?

I actually never mentioned Raw, but I said that he said he will be at Maina which should be good. I was only speculating something on hogan.

Well I was kind of dissapointed he wasnt going to be in a bare knukles fight as he hinted on larry king live. But I am looking forward to him being at wrestlemania and I know he will be involved jerichos match and probally punch him or something and make him loose to either piper or lawler who might end up facing him which would be ok I guess.

it's not unusual for actors or other famous personalities to appear in wrestlemania. i don't think mickey rourke will wrestle but he will get involved in a match and he will probably be the reason for changing the outcome of that particular match. i think we see a couple of legends go up against the present batch of wrestlers. i think ric flair goes up aginst jericho and flair gets backed up by hogan, austin, rourke and whoever www creative can get.

His performance in the movie Wrestler was Award Winning
I think he will WIN Oscars too after winning many awards.
More than anyone else he himself would be so happy for his performance in the movie wrestler.
This is where we see some real wrestling stuff.
I am waiting for Wrestlemania as Stone Cold Steve Austin is going to appear there?
