How many of u wear Spectacles?

I have since I was 8. I hate them. I also have lens but really want eye laser treatment.

I have to wear glasses but only for the computer. I am 35 and male.

I do wear glasses and real tired of it. I do not like contacts so I continue to wear glasses. My insurance company just started to cover lasik eye surgery at 50% so hopefully next year, I am going to take the plunge and have it done. I am real tired of straining to see print material even with the glasses. I am 41 and female.

I have worn glasses since I was 8 years of age.

I do wear now-a-days. I am 56. I have been using for the past 2 years only when I want to read newspaper and novels which have small size font. This is short sightedness of 0.5. I was told if you do exercises as indicated by Rober Bakeman (Backman)in his book I am not sure about his name, you can improve your sight slightly.

ive been wearing glasses since i was in 5th grade now im a freshman and im wearing contacts instead because there easyer to keep track of and they dont get ruined as easily

I began wearing glasses about 4 years ago. It is a daily fuss and I am still not used to it. I am a male and closer to 49 than 48. I may seriously consider a lasek surgery in the near future - my hands cannot extend long enough away anymore and I keep forgetting where I set my lenses!!! I understand that many people grow up wearing glasses and now I have a better understanding how it is like. But living most of my life with perfect eyesight and relying on my eyes to work - it gets me wired some days to have to depend on glasses.

I am 39 years old and I've worn glasses since I was 25.

I was advised to wear glasees since i was 14 (I'm 22 now) but I never heeded that advice coz I don't look good in eyeglasses. It makes me look older than my age. I'd rather wear contacts though.
