Wow, you really are a fan! My friend is, she has read all the books, too. As for me, not really much of a fan. I've seen the movie and I think it was good. I would watch the second one when it comes out but I would pass on reading the books, I guess.

Ohhhh... the books are so good! So much detail. It's hard to put 500-750 pages of book into a movie that lasts 2 hours without cutting some things. Of course you don't have to use pages and pages of descriptions in a movie either . Don't write off the books entirely. I devoured them in a couple weeks after I started reading them. They become addicting, Bella, Edward, and Jacob do not let you forget them.

You sound like a friend of mine. She read the books in about a week. I got her addicted. I read the first book and was on the second, when she was complaining about having nothing to read so I let her borrow my copy. Two days later she was ready for the second and I hadn't finished it yet. Lol.
I love the books. I am considering reading them again after I finish the series I am currently reading. That won't help deminish the pile of books next to bed that I still have to read though. Lol.

I got the first book as a gift... and I read it within a few days. After that, I bought the second book and read that in 2 days. I want to say it took me less than 2 weeks to read them all from the time I started. I read in large chunks, mostly when hubby and the kids were sleeping. I just couldn't put it down, even when I was tired!
I started rereading Twilight in fact, now that the story is familiar, I can catch anything I missed the first time and many things make a lot more sense.

Self confessed addict . Fans make other fans! It didn't take me long to read all the books but I have yet to see the movie. I'm reading the partial off stepheniemeyer.com and will probably re-read the first book again after that.
I think this is THE fantasy/love triangle saga for our generation. People seem to love vampires lol... despite the fact that most of them are not vegetarians.

I agree that people love vampires. I think it all started with Dracula and Anne Rice.
