I made a very simple beef/rice/pineapple stir fry yesterday. All I did was mix Honey Teriyaki Sauce, Soy Sauce, Pineapple juice, Garlic Sauce in a bowl. Then, I added, Five Spice Powder, Star Anise, onion powder, salt and pepper. All of this is to taste. I didn't even measure the ingredients. Then, I browned the beef, added cooked rice, and finally pineapples. I added cornstarch for thickness and let it simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes(while I cooked the egg rolls). Everyone was blended well then. I loved it and so did my family. YUMMY!

Hi, check my blog yanasmontessori.blogspot.com and you'll find Olivie salad recipe, it's great. I'll give you another great one, it's called "POD SHUBOY" or "under coat", it's a salad too, but i eat it as a meal, and though we usually do it on occasions, I still do it at normal days. It's from Russia, and is considered like a delicatese food. You will need: marinated fish, or salomon fillet (the ready to eat salted one) mayonese grated boiled potatoes grated apple grated cheese (your choice, I mix different ones sometimes, but prefer salted ones) grated boiled eggs grated boiled beetroot optional:grated cooked carrot for decoration. You will need a squared dish, though any shape will do, borders about 2" height. So you put the cut fillet of fish at the bottom, spread mayonese, then add potatoes and spread with mayonese, then keep adding the rest of ingridients spreading each layer with mayonese. Last layer should be beetroot, also spread with mayonese, and if you want use the grated carrot to decorate the sides, about half inch, and a little in the middle, or upto to your own creativity. P.S. I didn't add the quantity cuz it depends on the size of the dish you are going to use.

My boyfriend's favourite dish is Shepard's pie. You take a pound of ground meat and brown it. Then spice it and add some veggies...doesn't matter what kind, frozen or fresh and mix it until it's warm. Then, put it into a pan and cover it with mashed taters and cover with cheese. Into the oven at 350* until the cheese is melted and there's dinner. You of course can season it however you like...or add whatever you wish. It's very versitle. *Pleiades

What about fajitas? That is what I'm cooking tonight. Im making my homemade salsa to go with it. Tomatoes(4 or 5 beef steaks), onion(a whole small one)and cilantro(handfull) blended together in the food processor. I'm going to top the fajitas with guacamole, chesse and my salsa.

I fixed cubed steaks in mushroom gravy. It was really good and one of my husbands' favorites. I like it but not as much as he does. I also have been looking for some new recipes as I hate that I seem to eat the same things over and over. I think it is always a good idea to get ideas from others.

I sometimes feel like cooking but don't know what to make! Maybe browsing through some cooking site would give you some ideas and inspirations? I do that too *laughs*. Here is one for you (just look at the photos there and be inspired *smiles*): http://icookeverything.com
