Profile comments - myLot record!!

Oh! this is a news for me. Though I hav 153 friends right now I do not have more than 4 profile comments. May be some people are more communicating than others and therefore they have more comments. This is after all give and take. If I comment on yours you would comment on mines. I guess this goes like this only.

Hi rocketj! I know exactly how many I have on mine, even without looking None whatsoever because I removed the comment box. A year ago there were not so many pleasant comments as now. More users were spamming and I was fed up with it so I removed it - period! Indeed there is one user who requests everyone to be his friend just for that purpose. He is pending on my request list since he requested 7 months ago. His post number never alters so his only reason for requesting is to spam I have something else on mine that is just as interesting and much less bother. Happy Lotting!

Actually I have never went in and noticed how many are on mine, but I know I have deleted some of them too. Some of them I considered Spam, or are now blank, etc. but it is nice to go in from time to time and check out the ones that people have left. As for the person with the most, I have no idea. I am sure there are a couple of people on here who do have a lot as there are some Great people in here. Just something I guess most of the time I never have checked out.

I have a few comments, no more then ten but I do believe less that that if anything. I do not really leave comments that often and will admit to not even checking for awhile, although it is a nice surprise to see a comment and I do try to return the favor if I do not get busy and forget. I don't know of anyone who has more then that, but I am sure there are people who don't delete their comments and thus accumulate so many. Although there are some people who will comment twice in the same day, or comment maybe even more then that!

I don't seem to notice my own profile since i am new here, i don't even know the purpose of commenting someone else profile. Do we gain anything from it too? Sorry if i don't notice somebody else's profile if they got more than 477 or so. I am sure, i was not even interested at my own profile, hehehe! By the way, how do you send comments and what is the purpose of sending comments on their profile.

I don't have any idea, I never look at profiles actually. I couldn't tell you if I had any comments or not.

While I see the benefit of profile comments on other social networking sites, I think they are a little extraneous here on myLot. The whole point of myLot is to have discussions with your friends and to make new friends in the process. As such, we are already 'talking' to one another through our discussions and any comments can be made here. I can just as easily say, "Welcome back to myLot! I hope your computer issues are resolved to your satisfaction," here in this discussion as I can on your comment page. Mind you, I am not opposed to making or receiving profile comments. I just don't see the point here. Everyone has different preferences and opinions, though.

i was not going to my profile page much & found message i had received months ago & didn't even know they were there. in fact u had sent me one w/the two cats that was darling. how do you do that? u know i just hang on here by a thread & don't venture out much. anyway thank you. i didn't see anywhere to thank people on the profile page. glad i didn't have 477, i would have freaked. lol. i have never sent a comment from there, didn't know u could. have a good one. jo

Unfortunately, I am not checking my profile for comments often but there was a time that I happen to see some f=greetings and comments on my profile which I did not know. Lol. Some was already a month or so, and I did not respond to it too? I did not even count either if how many comments did I received since I joined here in mylot.

Hey there rocketj1 I hardly ever visit my own profile, I must be honest. I don't usually have a reason to do so, so I don't. I never think that people are going to leave me a comment because they would have to be my friend in the first place and think that if one of my myLot friends wants to get hold of me then they will PM me!! Now you have mentioned it I will go and check my profile!! I only visit other people's profile to double check where they are from and occasions their age if I am in a discussion that might be age related!

I have 2 comments...LOL, I dont go to my profile to often lately, well not in the last week, but I updated it a couple weeks ago and then I opened up a few more sites... my time has been cut in half lately tryng to learn new sites and keep up here... I am in the process of working it out into a schedule, so when I do I will have more time to work on my profile and then visit my friends... happy mylotting.

I haven't been on MyLots very long. I didn't even know that there was a comment section on my profile. Opps! guess I should check it out. I think comments can be a wonderful thing. If they are positive comments. Some like to leave rude comments. I haven't seen any here, but on other sites. I always think that is so very rude of them.

i'm new one here,so there is no comments about my profile page,but I think it is not very important that the comments are more or less.Maybe we can pay more attention on the more meaning things,such as hobbies,traveling.of course,,if we get a lot of profile comments,I will be happy too,I just think that is not worth to cost my more energy.

I don't think I have ever looked for comments on my profile page and I have been here for over three years. I will have to go see what is there on my page!

Hi rocketj1! yes, there are some friends who have tons of comments. It is loveloy to see comments on one's page and I do really enjoy leaving comments to friends. Sometimes, I can't really respond to friends' discussions because I have no idea with the topic they have made so I would try to make it up to them by leaving comments on their page just to show them they are not taken for granted. Half the time I don't even look at my profile page, and when I do, I always notice some comments on there from friends from a long time ago that I never seen..haha. I'm not sure how many I have, haven't counted lately. I know I don't send very many myself, maybe thats why I don't get very many, who knows.

hello rocketj wow, four hundred and seventy seven comments on somebody's profile page here at Mylot is alot i think compared to my twelve. lol i just went to look and i do have twelve comments that my Mylot friends have dropped by to leave for me. and if i had four hundred and seventy seven comments from my Mylot friend's i do not think that i would want to delete any of them as well. is there anyway that we can go in and re-arrange the comments on our profile page here at Mylot? and usually when that i try to leave a comment on one of my friend's profile pages here or try to leave a reply for a photograph, i will get some sort of a message that says you must be friend's with that person to leave a comment? so i really haven't figured all of the profile activities out just yet here at Mylot. take care and have a beautiful evening.

Was it me LOL. I never visit my profile. Never. I really should though as this is not really nice is it. Goodness I am going to visit now. I bet I have thousands on there. I just never got around to it r even had the time because when I first joined I could not work it and it did my head in LOL. Well I will check and get back to you on this.

As i am a newbie, i have only 2 to 3 comments. But congratulations for the one having such a huge amount of comments. Hope that i will also get a considerable number of comments and responses.
