Do Men Really Think That They Are Better Than Women??

Hi! I would like to tell you a funny thing and you will laugh so loudly!! In a hospital one patient was dying, relatives asked doctor, what can be done? Doctor said, "there is only one option. We have to do brain transplant." So the relative asked, " how much will cost us" The doctor said," Insurence will cover up for th eoperation but you have to buy a brain." The people were curios now, and asked the doctor. The doctor replied," For a man's brain Rs 50,000/- and for a woman's brain Rs 200/-" People were shocked, men tried not to laugh but one man couldn't controll his laughter and the doctor. The doctor smiled at his childish innocence and explined to the entire group,'it is just a standard procedure. We have to mark the price down of woman's brain because they actually being used, the male brains are hardly ever used.So they are as good as new.'

HAHA.. no i don't think i.. i A MAN do not consider myself better than any women, we are all individuals special in out own way and not only that but for me i have alot of respect for women because you women are the ones that bring us into this world and for that you women are just so important...and i hve the upmost respect for you ladies. Some men honestly feel they were born better than women. They were raised to think that way. Of course, few American women are going to take being treated this way. However, in a lot of countries, the men honestly treat the women like 2nd class citizens. I've known some from other cultures who truly believe they are gods and that the women in their lives should treat them as such. For example, I worked for a psychiatrist who was originally from the middle east. He was an oily little guy married to a beautiful woman. However, he beat her, burned her American clothes, and bought a house where she would have little exposure to other people. Finally she got brave enough to call the police when he was beating her. He was put in jail and was furious the next morning. He said to me, "I will take her back if she will bow to my feet. Do you think she will?" I told him "in a pig's eye". She didn't, either, and he blamed it on "damned American soap operas". Imagine living like that. He told me it was the law in his country that a man could beat his wife as long as he didn't beat her too hard.

Yes. Of course, they are. What you have felt when I have said "YES"??? You have some gender feelings just like racial and religious feelings. Try to dominate that. Both men and women are always equal. Both are human beings. And that never exceed.

a lot of men do seem to think that they are better than women and a lot of women seems to agree. That's what's wrong with the world now. people think that staying home and minding your own business and making family your first priority and trying to make the world a more beautiful place are unworthy pursuits. many people think that making as much money as possible bossing people around and destroying nature are terrific things to do. As long as these attitudes continue we will always have war and severe environmental problems.

oh why men don't like me once again. yeah most men i would say 90% of men think they are better then women. why who knows i guess it's thier egos. some of them i guess they feel more smarter then some women. they often think they need to control them as well, that they owe them. and some men feel like they need to be a bread winner between the two. because if not then they get all down claim all this mess up their man hood. don't know now my wife used to make more then me, i could have careless if they bills got paid that what matter to me. we are pretty qual on things in what we know and deal with.

men are better, theres no arguement. When it comes to building and fixing, harvesting,hunting,fising, defending self/family,scienece, women are the complete opposite of the above. See who would have a harder time adjusting to medieveil times a man or a woman?

What i feel is that men and women are better than each other in their own special stuff..... there are many things that women can do easily that men cant and similarly there are some things that men can do easily and women cant.... So if we see overall no one is better than other.....the balance or the equilibrium is always maintained....

No one is better than the other. Galatians 6:3-4 , If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. Each one should test his own actions. Then he can take pride in himself, without comparing himself to somebody else. We are created equal. So i think we should treat each other equally. Even though in reality , the issue of discrimination is there. Husband should be treating their wife equally. And wife should also be treating their husband the same too.

I think the reality is that some men think that they're capable than women in many social fields,even some women also think the same way(at least in my country——china).But in my opinion,judging wether men or women are better has no meanning at all.What we need to know is people are good at different jobs and we should make everyone do the things they like and good at.

I have been having this issue with my hubby lately. It drives me nuts. I personaly feel like we are equals, but in most cases I am in charge. Where he gets off saying things like because Im a girl. My Hubby went to an RV show with his dad and I asked him to know buy anything. His dad said to me that I should trust my husband to make the right choice for my family. I am incharge of the money in our family and I know what we can and cant afford. So I think this is a matter I should have the say on, but nope Im just a girl. FYI- The hubby knows better and his decision was to follow my decision rightly so.

I think that men and women are equal. If men could give birth I think many could handle it. Men and Women are different but equal. Two things don't have to be the same to be equal.

This is a silly answer only a woman could have written. I'm joking of course, being ironic. All of us are different, men, women - some are better than others in some ways, some worse than others. To base this type of judgement solely on gender is ignorant, no matter who is saying it. My opinion.

I think women are better, because I'm a women! No, I don't want to admit it but we are on the same level. We both have our good traits and bad. But the power women have is the bearing of life and I think that tops any other power.

Well, if you've ever read the bible, it has a man being born first then the woman. It's not about one being better than the other, it's about a mutual relationship that both should be looking for.

lynnemg - I think you're going to find that some men think they're better than women, and some women think they're better than men. Some people feel that gender equality is more than just some kind of sociological philosophy, but think they're better than other people. Some probably feel that they're worse. Some people are in relationships where they're not treated as equals, and it can be totally outside of a gender issue. It just grinds down to a personal thing is what I'm trying to say, there probably isn't going to be a broad general answer. And the majority of people that feel they're superior, aren't going to blatantly admit it, without the protection of anonymity, since gender value can be such a touchy issue. Fortunately for you though, the internet can't help but provide a semi-anonymous format for such discussions :D So we'll see what kind of answers come up, maybe I'm right, maybe I'm wrong ;-)
