Of course the writer must convey the feelings through his writings. No matter fiction or non-fiction, the strong feelings must be there. That's why Stephen King is so successful, he not only conveys the feelings of fear, anticipation into the books, he also makes us feel the same way. Bible is another book full of feelings, of joy, of hope, of sadness, of whatever the writers feel at the moment of writing.

Well, I find it to be very important as a writer to input my thoughts and feelings. Even here in myLot a lot of times when I am responding back to a discussion I am doing this as well. I find that you will often get more people to relate with you when you are not ashamed to share your feelings. As long as you do it in a way to not be condeming or cutting one down I feel that is the Best way for sure. And as a Writer I would think it would make you sound more believable and make more in the long run as well.

well all the original thoughts and emotions prevail whether the article they write or the music they compose , the lyric that they create or a painting is painted if and only if the work of art is created with deep heart felt emotions!!
people at large will relate with such work and feel as if it was their own story...
happy mylotting!!

Speaking as a writer, with award winning print published work, I can tell you this. You need to write with passion. This is not to say that you have to be passionate about the subject you are writing on, but that you need to be passionate about writing.
I have ghostwritten a number of highly successful pieces that I knew nothing about, had to research and I didn't have a feeling one way or the other over the topic... but I love to write.
If you write in a manner that shows your inner passion, and connects to the reader your piece will be successful. The economy in the United States at the moment is not something that you can get excited about, but when the President speaks on it his innner passion moves people. Whether you agree with what he is saying or not the passion behind the words moves you.
Successful writers are passionate about their craft.

I guess there is truth to what the magazines says for if a writer is eloquent enough to transfer his feelings into words, he would easily write a very effective piece. If he is passionate and knowledgeable about something he's writing it would just as easily express his feelings into words. Though sometimes, we are at a loss of finding the right words to express ourselves truly.
