Survey Spot is offering surveys without mentioning cash payouts?

I just happened to try a $2 survey on Friday and the company had already received enough responses. I clicked on the next survey because it was for video games (my oldest son was in the room, so he helped) and after a 20 minute survey, the screen indicated that my account would be credited with $7 in 4-6 weeks. There was no mention of the survey being a cash survey at any point...well at least not until the end. Has anyone else been surprised when they completed a survey and found out that they earned cash? I wonder if this practice is something new...a way to get Survey Spot members to take all the surveys?

It sounds to me as though you've found yourself a scammer! I would leave it for the four to six weeks and see what happens before even entertaining the idea of filling out any further surveys. Most sites will show you your running account immediately, or if not, within 24-48 hours. Brightest Blessings.

This company has always paid on time, the negatives are that most of their surveys are not cash surveys and when you complete a cash survey, you aren't credited for 4-6 weeks. But my money is always in my account in about 4 weeks and they always mail out the check when I place a request for payout. Hopefully, I can add a few more quick cash surveys to my account and get a check for $10 or more.

Yes, I hope so too. That seems an awful long time for them to take to work out your earnings, but then, perhaps your surveys have to be validated by the companies who put them out.

Well I know I used to a member of SurveySpot and I never got anything from them, I think I was a member for about a year, I never seen them mention any kind of money for completing a survey, all I know is I got points and would be put in a drawing. I always did the surveys, and at the end they would just have me play this little game to see how many entries I got in to the sweepstakes, it went on and on that way, so I finally got out of it. Its good to know somebody's getting something from them...Have a good day

no, I certainly haven't and I have to say congradulations to lucky you. I will say they have almost stopped sending me surveys all together, and once in a blue moon I check out their site and check around to see if there is any money in my account and or any surveys for me to do but I never find anything. Thanks for sharing also! Congrads again to you and God Blesses! Sandy

I haven't had this happen to me. I've noticed that when they DON'T mention an incentive it usually means that all you'll get for completing the survey is an entry into their sweepstakes (which is kind of irritating, if you ask me.) It would be smart, I suppose, for them to do that. I admit, sometimes I intentionally skip through the ones that don't offer an immediate cash bonus - but that's just becuase the chances of winning that "quarterly" sweepstakes is slim to none. I wish they would offer MORE, smaller rewards rather than just one large one. *sigh*.

That was the first and only time that something like being told after the survey that I would be rewarded with a cash payment. I do have to admit that I don't usually do the "sweepstakes" surveys very often either...so I wonder how many other surprise cash surveys I missed out on. The good thing is that SurveySpot seems to offering a lot of smaller cash reward surveys than in the past 12-18 months, so there are plenty of chances to make a little money. Thanks for your response!

Yeah after reading this discussion you guys give me hope. I thought that I had just joined another scam site. I have no problem doing stuff for prizes but just a entry into a sweepstakes. Sounds like a scam to me. I see here that people have been paid from them already though and it just takes time. I will continue to do the surveys then as I was going to stop. I have not even had one offer for a survey with money yet and I have taken about a couple now. Is there some trick to getting a survey offer that offers money? Thanks for starting this discussion. Happy Posting :)

Oh, they are certainly not a scam site! They have paid me every time I requested a payout. As far as receiving money surveys from them... Sometimes they seem to come every couple of weeks and then sometimes you'll receive a cash offer every few days. The only tip I can offer you is to answer honestly, even if it means not qualifying for a cash survey. But know that the $$ surveys will come and you will get paid! Thanks for responding!!
