The water bottles inwhich i store water inteh fridge have got a sedimentary deposit at the bottom from inside. I tried to clean it with a detergent and a brush but it does not get cleared. Is there any method by which I can clean it up so that the sediment gets cleared? i do not want to throw away the bottles as they are otherwise in good condition.

Pull the bottle inside out and then you can easily rub and clean the outside now! Eureka!!

Try to put some sand inside the bottle and shake well so that those sediments shall go off.I think this will help you to get clean your bottles rather than with the detergent and brush.Cheers!
