If you were given a chance, would you want to know your future?
If so:
a. What if you see that you are poor in the future (regardless what you'd do, you're destined to be poor) what would you do?
b. What if you see that you'll die in a few hours?
c. What if you'll live till you're 100? How would that impact your life?

i would like to know my future if its a good one haha, but if its scary, then i would rather not know about it, if it is nice, it will inspire you, but if its scary, it will just make you paranoid of the future, and i really believe that your future will depend on your decisions, the choices you make, and if you are persevering and hardworking, you can reach all your dreams. but if you do nothing about your state in life then you have no one to blame but yourself

I wouldn't want to know my future, that would take the fun out of life! If I found out I was going to be poor in the future I would continue to try and make the most of each day, if I was told I'd die in a few hours, well I don't know really! That's quite a morbid thought - I guess I would just try and gather myself with all the people that mean the most to me. If I thought I was going to live until I am 100 years old, I would probably be a little more sensible with money so that I can have a comfortable long life!

What a well thought out response. It echoes everything that I would want to respond with! Not knowing what each day will bring...creates anticipation for that day.....so not to worry..they can't even predict the weather properly! LOL!
Great answer...UK_Shree!

Yes I would want to know my future so I can know what I'm living for. Somedays I feel like just running away from my life and never come back. If I knew what my future was I may be a little more optimistic about today knowing that tommorrow will be better. a) Technically I'm already poor so it wouldnt be nothing new. b) I'd ask EXACTLY ho many hrs and had and go read the Bible and try to get my head centered on the Lord and around the Lord so that I'll know I'm going to heaven. The rest of the hrs I'd go spend with my son and the rest of my family. c) I'd be happy and try to eat right and excercise so that I'm not suffering in my old age. Other than that I would be happy knowing I am living to see 100

to be honest, I dont think I would want to know my future. not knowing what the future has in store for me brings excitement to my life. there's just something about not knowing what tomorrow brings that makes you want to look forward to that day. it gives me hope and the courage to face my present.
also, I really think we make our own future. whatever we do today, all out decisions and actions affect what the future will bring. I dont really like to believe in a predetermined tomorrow. it really still depends on what you do today (for me at least).

My initial thought was YES I'd like to know my future, but the more I think about it I'd have to say No. I love surprises. If you can't change the future what's the point in knowing about it? Just live it as it comes :)
a) If I was destined to be poor I would live it up as much as I could and stop worrying about debt!
b) I would spend my remaining few hours with my loved ones
c) I probably wouldn't change anything, I would just hope that at 100 I'm still healthy and able.

Sometimes day by day makes it easier so I can really feel what you mean when you say 'Just live as it comes' - other times it is great to be able to see a few steps ahead to keep you on target and a bit of a validation to know you are going in the right direction certainly helps too!
Let us hope that we can let go of our fears and all the worries in our minds and start living with our hearts.

LOL--while on the one hand it might be great to know the future...my thing would be to know if I do indeed become a successful and famous writer and photographer and become wealthy...heehee. As for anything negative...that could be dangerous to know anything negative since one could actually bring the event in their life by constantly thinking about so in effect "attract" it to them, if you get my meaning.

Hello laydee!
I don't think that I would ever want to know my future. That can get scary...

If I were asked this question before, I would say no, because the essence of future is unknown. While you've already known your future, it would become meaningless. Now my answer would be yes. I would like to know whether I am healthy in the future. Recently, many of my relatives got cancer. This is the first time this disease is so close to me and I think health is really important in life. If I were told I won't be healthy, I guess I will just try me best to live my time.

i think fortune telling is interesting and fun. but what if they tell u something bad that u dont want to hear? that is the scary part. maybe tell the fortune teller to tell u only the good stuff. ignore the bad stuff. so that u dont have to worry and think about the bad stuff until it actually happens to u in real life.
but it is hard to find a good and real fortune teller. most are crap and fake, trying to steal ur money. so be careful when u approach one. real fortune tellers dont take money from people. they do it for fun because they have this gift within them and they want to help others.
fake fortune tellers are full of crap, and lie and take ur money to use u, because they know that u r in a low place in ur life and need some hope. they want to see how much money u r willing to give them to hear their bull.

I agree with the money thing. But let's just say that this 'reader of the future' is not about money, let's just say it's about you given the chance to know what is to happen. Would you? if you would, what would your question be? if not, why not?
:)
Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

Yes, definitely. I believe in the sciences of astrology, palmistry, tarot, birth-charts and more... But as you have asked, knowing about a bad future would not really make an impact on my present life.
Whatever I come to know with these sciences will be regarded as warnings, but I won't be taking them to my heart. I'll just mend my ways and be more careful, but definitely I'll not get depressed.
I firmly believe in living life to its fullest and enjoy every moment that one is alive. I have no regrets ever and never harm anybody. Do not merely exist, go ahead and 'live'!

That's a good idea, of not being disappointed I mean. But heck it would surely be something if the reading would say you'd be poor or be crazy at one point. But still, let's hope for the best and I sure hope that we could mend our ways before the day comes.
Thanks for the response. Have a great MyLot experience ahead!

Yes! I would want to know because at least I would have some time to think about what to do before whatever event occurs and if needs be put my affairs in order. As they say tomorrow is never promised, and never put off for tomorrow what can be done today...and we are all guilty of doing that sometime.
SO knowing what my future hold may help me in better making the most of today.

That is too difficult to answer, because I feel that the future is NOT set in stone, but then again it could very well be, nobody knows for sure if either is the case. I think I can only validly answer that if I knew if the future would be a sure thing, or that you can change it.
I mean, just now, I'm curious as to going and trying a psychic reading, and it would be easy for me to do because there's a shop right across the street from my place. Who knows, if they have their sign out, I may just take it as a "sign" to walk in, but then again, I could very easily turn skeptic if they start talking about my relationship, which, yeah, what I would be going in for, but they don't have to know that....ARG! I don't know what to do anymore! lol.

yeah why not see whats going on in my rotten life in the future.lol
A) if i found out i was poor in the future it doesn't look like much has changed.. i would try to change it and or go very strong to try to change it no matter if it was destined. i can only go up from where i am now though.
B) if my future was for me to die in a few hours i would find a way to prevent it. i am pretty resourceful and would probably find a way or if not then make some phone calls and tell whoever i love i'll be going in a few hours and tell them how i feel.
C) if i will live to be 100 then i'll plan out my life so i can be very nimble and youthful at that age. It would be a test to get to 100 and not feel that age.

If i were given a chance to know my future... definitely i will not. I dont want to put myself in a hasty situations. Ok as asked if i see i am poor we have no other go to face it as it is a part of life and will find out ways to avoid such situations. If i come to know i am going to die in few hours i would love to sit a hour with all my family members and then go to a separate room to pray to my God Almighty to safeguard all those who love me. Surely i would love to donate my eye through which i can see this world again through my sis/bro who henceforth own my eyes. I would definitely not prefer to live till 100 years but if so, i will c that i am not harmful to anyone even at that stage.
