Rafa has rejected the latest contract offered to him. It looks very likely that the board might now shelve the contract negotiations till the end of the season. Will all this hurt Liverpool's League aspirations? Cheers! Ram

I think that Rafa has wanted to get this great week in Liverpool's history out of the way before contract talks getting in the way. But after todays 4-1 thrashing of manu, and the demolition of the great Real Madrid we will se now what happens.....it now may happen soon.

I know... It has been a stupendous week for Rafa and Liverpool. Two of their best performances of the season if not of the whole Rafa tenure!! Cheers! Ram

In my opinion.the negotiation will hurt Liverpool's aspiration more or less. There are several spanish players in Liverpool and they will consider their future before Rafa's contract negotiation is fixed so they cannot focus on the match.

Eventually, I believe Rafa will sign his extension of contract with Parry is leaving at the end of the season. Rafa is one of the best manager for Liverpool, strategies accurately to beat the great Barcelona, Inter Milan and Real Madrid at their own backyards as well as beating Chelsea and Man U lately! Hope Liverpool will be able to keep Rafa for another few more (many) years and to bring the coveted Premier League Title back to Anfield!
