Yes, this is a factor, also length and quality of your responses. If you just write a couple of words then you probably won't earn anything from the post, whereas if you post a couple of lines you might earn a cent, and if you post a really detailed response I have known people get paid around 6 or 7 cents for the one reply.

I don't think I have made a full penny off of any of my responses. Are you kidding or what. Set a goal for all of us to see if we can make it with posts or something. I can't believe people are getting more than a penny for any of this. I'm new so excuse me for the skepticism. Happy mylotting.

Hi there GAUCI123, I just reached payout myself and I am not sure why it took so long either. I try and make my responses as long as I can, and I try really hard to explain myself the best way as well. I use mylot codes but as for starting discussions that is where I have been lacking, I only start once in awhile, I have been working on starting at least one a day. I guess I need to be on a little more than I am because my goal is to reach the payout every month and this is month four for me and I am just reaching my first payout. Good luck and happy mylotting as well.

See? There you guys go again scaring me. I have been on here a week and this talk about money just scares me! I think I am only going to do this once in a while until I can figure out who pays for what. Yesterday people were talking about how there numbers and pay go down sometimes. There you go SCARY!

I don't think myLot would pay you only from how much you post but also from how good you posted it. You have to make a good and qualified responses or make a very good discussions where people would answer your discussions, the more people responses the better your earning from the discussions. I think you should be able to earn more with that much posts. I have earned more than $45 with 1800 posts. But the first payment always the hardest. Trust me.
Don't give up and happy myLotting.

i really don't know the criteria for how the earnings are given but i think that when your response is chosen as the best response by a member, you'll get more earnings.

Mylot pays more for the quality of the message. I'm not quite sure why but it prefers quality over quantity.
