Who else here thinks Rihanna should NEVER take Chris Brown back?

I, for one, think that Rihanna should NEVER take Chris back. I also think that Covergirl, who was standing behind her immediately after the incident, should drop her if she continues a relationship with him. Whether she wants to be or not, she is a role model to young women, and as such should set an example. If she is really going to keep up with the relationship, I will no longer let me daughters listen to her music. I find my decision really unfortunate because I like her music too, but I WILL NOT allow my daughters to be influenced by someone who allows herself to be abused.

I didn't think I gave a crap about any of this until it's been all over the internet and the news. I am hearing that he just bought her a bunch of stuff for her birthday (stuff she could have got on her own) and called her supposedly to apologize. My thing is this, nobody knows what really happened but their 'handlers' and them. So I don't know if she infected him with something, or she was trying to take the phone while he was on it with his 'side piece' and that part is not important to me. The thing that bothers me about this is if she were just some girl and he were just some guy, there would not be all this media coverage. I was in a relationship for a long time and when he decided he wanted to reach out and touch me, I touched him back and we broke up. To this day, I know at least five girls who are or have been hit and they didn't get this much attention. So yeah, she just might take his little annoying ... back just because. Did anybody stop to think that publicity stunts can get extreme too. I saw the picture and if he did all that, he needs to spend a little time practicing his dance moves in jail...but no she really should not take him back but it looks like she will...

I believe in second chances but it depends on the situation and something like this one definitely doesn't need a second chance. Rihanna should never take Chris Brown back all this controversy and rumors going on. She would certainly find a better guy, one who is a gentleman and know how to treat a woman. I wish Rihanna could get over this and I hope that paparazzis will give her a break; the girl needs some space alone.

She hasn't even pressed any charges against him yet. I am not sure what she is thinking. She has everything going for her and is plenty successful on her own and could even take a stand bigger than herself on the issue. All that aside, no one should stay with someone who beats the, if that is what he did. i say that as he has not been charged with anything.

I think she should take him back... with the longest knife in her kitchen... I feel that NO matter how far a woman pushes you, NEVER hit a woman... if he was bold enough to do it like did the "allegedly" first time in public, who knows what he's capable of, obviously he has a bad temper... you could be the shiniest star in the sky or the slummiest scum in the toilet, NEVER take him back,... let him go sweetie.

She should never take that sorry clown back. He humiliated her as well as physically harmed her. I can't believe how many people have been so insensitive to what happened here. Have people not seen the pictures? How could he do that to a woman? Or someone he cares about? He's disgusting trash.

There's no way a man would ever beat me like that and stay in my life. Any woman who has any self-esteem at all wouldn't allow him to be a part of her life. Yes, it's good to forgive, but in cases like this it's a matter of safety. Guys that are abusers are going to say they're sorry, but they're going to be abusive again. I've known girls who stay in relationships like that, and they always end up the losers. No human being has a right to beat another one, and since this guy can't seem to restrain himself, then she needs to put herself in control of the situation any way she can.
