If you are to spend a whole day alone in your house without any phone/ cellphone, without TV, without a PC and Internet and without a spouse/ relative/ friend to give company,
(1) What will happen to you? Will you relish it/ abhor it/ take it cool?
(2) What will you really do to spend/ kill your time?

I would relish it completely, I would bring out a book a blanket and lock the doors and just indulge in reading all day from morning to night... that would be so great since I never have time to read anymore unless I stay up really really late and with the kids have me running all day, I crash the minute I sit down...LOL

For me, I get crazy if I cannot have the internet or a computer or the television. I always carry my cell phone with me wherever I go, even at home. I would go nuts if I did not have some form of technology around me.
Have a great day and happy myLotting!!!

I think I could survive well without any "gadgets" for a day. I hardly watch TV anyway to begin with, seldom use a phone...the computer could be a tricky one, but I did actually have to do without a computer for almost a whole day sometime ago when the electricity was shut off in our building to do rewiring. I live alone so am used to that...I would spend time catching up on my reading, doing chores and so forth...so no big deal for me..LOL

Yup--it's true...I'm one of the rare ones that doesn't have a cell phone even...back in 2006 I DID have to make a lot of phone calls, practically lived on the phone since there was a very serious issue that came about...from what I figure with all that phone calling I did back then I did my quota of phone calling for the next twenty years..LOL

I would do as I did as a kid and use my imagination. It always served me well as a child and still does now.
I think with all the gadgets, a lot of children have lost their ability to use their imagination.
I love the days where i have nothing more to do them dream and relax.

Umm.... ok a phone I can live without. Tv I can live without (unless that means I can;t use a tv for other means like videogames?) and family I can live without for a while.
So I'd probably be ok with it, although I'd get a little bored I imagine.

I think if I were stuck at home for a long period of time, alone without anything like the internet of TV to keep me occupied I don't think I'd be very comfortable. I'd probably be OK for a few minutes, maybe an hour. However, after that amount of time I'd probably feel like I was going to go crazy. I wouldn't know what to do with myself.
It would take me awhile to find something to do. I'd probably end up cleaning for awhile and then after that, finding a book or something to read. However, without any sort of noise around it would be difficult for me to be completely comfortable.

Well for me I will relish it. With all the gadgets and activities that there are to do everyday, I think it would really be nice to take a break. For me it would really be easy to kill the time. All I'll do is rest and sleep all day and probably I'll do some cleaning and clear out the things that needs to be removed in my room.
