HP Recovery Disk using F11

How can i used the F11 in recovering my laptop. I want to recover it but when i restarted my laptop and press F11 repeatedly, it don't access the recovery disk, instead it boot directly in my hardrive.

I think you should press F8.

Before you want to recover your computer, you have to back up your computer, then you can press F11 when you start it.

I never used a recovery disk and I suppose it can be used just by choosing it from your "my computer" folder. If the hard drive boots then you should be able to access that. See if that works. Cheers!!

Did you see some comments when your computer started? It should give some instructions what you can do at different time. In addition, you need to make sure your system is the version from factory. That means the recovering function is good to use. I am sure you can make it, just be careful. Good luck.
